What was Obama doing for 8 long years? I think he was CRAMMING CHALK FULL OUR AGENCIES, MILITARY, ETC., WITH DEEP STATE OPERATIVES and that was his primary focus.

I decided to vote for Donald Trump the day he announced. I never wavered from that. I was never a NeverTrumper.
I nevertheless refuse to worship him as some sort of selfless savior.
The man wanted this power for decades. I saw him interviewed since the 1980s. Stop portraying him in a false way.
Does he still have his wealth? Does he still have his properties? Does he still have his (third!) beautiful wife? Does he still have the authority and status of being the most powerful man in the world?
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. And he has wanted that for many years. It is a matter of public record.
That does not mean he is not fighting for us, but he is also - as he has always been - fighting for himself.
If all of you so-called conservatives want to show compassion, the show it for the many persons who helped him to be elected, and who have lost some or all of those things - even their liberty - while Donald Trump retains all of them.
My sympathy most of all goes to Paul Manafort, not to Donald Trump. Whether Manafort committed any crime or not, he was destroyed by corrupt lawfare, while those who have done the same or far worse are free and clear.
Those who worship Trump as more than he is have their priorities skewed. The Founding Fathers would not agree with them.
They remind me of those on the left who treated Barack Obama the same way.
Donald Trump is an elected official, answerable to We The People. He is not a savior, and not a saint.
