Buyer beware. Just think of the Rats and our IRA’s.
Welcome to Mexico.
$heesh. Go figure.
And the rats want them all here.
Stuff happens when one leaves America to live with crooks, aka Mexicans in Mexico/
Even if I lived there, I wouldn’t keep my money in a Mexican bank. I’d have a local account with just enough to cover three months’ worth of living expenses, and wire more into it from abroad as required.
These people were foolish.
It is not paranoia when they are out to get you!
Stupid people..when in another country one should never let their guard down.
Just think of it as reparations in action.
Why wasn’t this BOMBSHELL/EXPLOSIVE/BREAKING? Move to mexico they said. You’ll love it they said. No more shoveling snow they said. The people are honest and hard working they said.

Swindling rich naive Yanquis is considered an art form.
Kidnapping is a real issue there. If you have a large amount of money in a local bank, beyond a few thousand, the wrong people are going to know it. If for some reason you can’t keep your main bundle in the US, at least keep it outside Mexico, or whatever third-world country you are residing in. Don’t be a target. Your private finances may not be as private as you think.
