*NOPE = Never Obtain the Presidency, Ever
What we need is a retired female former military who has no baggage.
I’m with you on that one onyx.FR is Jim’s site and he has run it well for many years.
Best damn site on the Internet!
I love the simplicity, and the ad-less, not needing Flash or Java or anything else to slow down.
The only criticism I’ve ever had is the lack of an Edit function for when we screw up posts. Still, that has led to a lot of laughs and Freeper lore over the years (my Beeber is stunned, took a shower; what happened, etc).
Heh heh heh...
Yes, definitely. Gators #8 in Coaches poll and #10 in AP poll
5 SEC teams in Top 10. It will clarify
Does Irfan now charge? I haven’t uploaded in awhile
Up and down on posts would be nice as well but not a deal breaker.
Hello, Newman... {scowl}
Yeah, but we got LSU on 9 Nov and then Auburn on 30 Nov.
However, Auburn plays LSU on 16 Nov and then Georgia two weeks after that.
And then the Gators play Auburn next week, FOLLOWED by LSU the week after, and then Georgia two weeks after that.
All these teams are in the TOP 10 right now.
Who says the SEC teams get a cakewalk?
Morons.
No. At least there was nothing referenced at all about costs or plans on the home page.
No. At least there was nothing referenced at all about costs or plans on the home page.
It’s a cake walk for Alabama! No one is going to beat them! For the other “mortal” teams its as tough as it gets.
SEC is the best conference but my Ducks played one of your top teams to the end. One of the best games of the year.
Chuck Todd was an embarrassment on his show, literally yelling at his guest, Steve Scalise and not letting him answer. Todd appeared to be more like an aggressive Left Wing activist than a host, just terrible.
The girl with constant gas and a sour puss, Mett the Press? Once again was badgering Lindsey Graham.
These fake news hosts are taking sides, quite obvious. They spew vitriol at Republicans, very noticeable.
Levin should be hired, makes a better case than any Republican I've heard.
The media actually puts their hands on their ears when Biden is brought up, totally ignore it, amazing.
That's because he is.
They all are. Except for Maria on SMF, all of these hosts a biased democrat/Leftists.
That's why I've been listing the actuals on the panel members' names in the first posting. Well, that and because it's fun insulting them.
When you look at where they're from, who they work for, and actually examine their written or spoken words, you'll realize they are almost to person haters of Donald Trump and his supporters. That means the host and their panels and often the guests.
I’ve been out of my office but wanted to respond to your note.
Reflecting on your thoght I have problem thinking about leaving a Crystal City hotel, walking in the drafty cold for three blocks to the Metro and then exiting and walking who knows how far to where Freepers are gathering and then having a geat time in great company watching the idiots parade by giving us the finger and shouts of derision. My body is not capable any more. I’m not sure my mind is still up to the task either. Then there is the fact I am now retired and do infact not have the financial resources I once had.
When thinking of leadership, Although we all followed Jim’s lead, there were many many others that assumed leadership roles to carry out all sorts of various Freep activities. I’m not counting on the old Freepers.
My question is where are the 45 or 50 year old’s to take up the various weapons at hand and give the progressive enemies Freeper hell? Aren’t there at least 5 or so who will emerge as current cadre leaders? If they are present, they seem to be very quiet.
I like to quote Tennyson:
The old order changeth yielding place to new And God fulfills himself in many ways Lest one good custom should corrupt the world.”
Where is the new order?
It’s like I said before, we have a release valve here, so by posting, one can feel they’ve done something constructive.
I think it adversely affects activism.
Remember when this site was young and people would be excoriated for not posting a link, or posting a vanity, or leaving italics on?
We shamed each other to do right.
That is why when ever I see someone post “We should this, or we should do that” I ask, who’s we? What are YOU going to do?
In your case, I absolutely understand these types of jobs are for younger folks, but I do wish people would post a lot less “What are the Republicans doing, or Trump should do this...
My immediate thought is:
No, YOU do it!
We have hundreds who will go, maybe a couple thousand when and if we decide. However, we need tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands. We had perhaps as many as three thousand show up for our largest FR event ever back in Oct ‘98. This time we need one as big or bigger than the one back in 2009 that was organized and promoted by that talkshow guy, what’s his name? Oh, yeah, he later became a FOX host, then his own network. Hmmmm... got his name right here, but having a senior moment. FR can be a co-sponsor like we were back then, but it’s going to require two or three larger organizations to bring enough people in—and all the big talkers talking it up BIGLY. And it’ll probably require a couple of repeat performances as well as nation-wide efforts. I’m old and decrepit now, but will find a way to get there when we roll.
