For Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, the very notion that President Donald Trump could be deserving of impeachment seemed "laughable"
After having read a summary of the July phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that sparked House Democrats' impeachment inquiry into the president, McConnell said on Wednesday that it was "laughable to think this is anywhere close to an impeachable offense."
"If this is the 'launching point' for House Democrats' impeachment process, they've already overplayed their hand," the Senate Majority Leader said.

Mr. Trump has stated before that if they try impeaching him he will hit them back harder, like they’ve never been hit before. I think it’s all gamed out and if they do it, it’s like they’re laying their heads on the chopping block.

I know it is cool here to rag on Cocaine Mitch the Turtle, but he did prevent Obama’s 3rd Supreme Court pick and slow walked Obama’s nominees so President Trump can have even more spaces to fill that he is moving at a fast pace (for the senate) to get them all confirmed.
That took some balls to do what he did. Yertle the Turtle probably has the biggest pair in the senate. Sure Cruzer talks the talk same with paul and others but Cocaine Mitch is getting it done.

AOC is owned, quite literally (she was a part of a casting call) by the “new money” Jewish media, whilst Pelosi and the Manhattan and Wall Street “old money” bankers scramble to maintain their edge. It’s not playing out well for the Democrat elites currently, but AOC is quite literally a figure head.
This is about federal judge appointments, in my opinion.

Romney is a heel, go look it up, it is a pro wrestling term where a member or a couple members of the club are “bad dudes” to get the audience riled up and angry. They cheat, sneak attacks, talk trash, go after the popular wrestlers, etc.

I’m leaning to that conclusion. Keep DJT under a cloud of suspicion, and stall any SCOTUS appointments that come up, or hope he loses and RBG can last another year. Because if DJT is re-elected, packing the court at a later date becomes the alternative. Commies play the long game, but they’re dealing with an instant gratification mob of their own making. Trump and we Deplorables really have crapped in their oatmeal.

the only thing i can think of is that it give them an excuse to replace the defunct Mueller “investigations” with something that gives and excuse to the dying lying leftist fake stream enemedia to say the word “impeachment” five hundred times a day until election day with the hope that it might peal off a few Trump votes if they hear “impeachment” a bazillion times ... if they ACTUALLY vote to send an impeachment to the Senate for trial, then they’ve likely destroyed all chances of taking the House ... impeachment is like having the atomic bomb: it makes an awesome threat, but if you actually have to explode one, you’ve probably lost ...
To wear down a small percentage of soccer moms in a few key suburban districts to flip the electoral votes in those close states.

Actually, this seems like a deflection. McConnell is not stepping up to the plate and giving the Dems in the House free shots at POTUS.
He should have made clear by now that the GOP controlled Senate plans to investigate these claims vigorously. Starting with a chat under oath with Biden Jr.
