But according to Hancock County Sheriffs Office, a fan at the game, a Maine Maritime alumni, had brought his own cannon which was filled with black powder and a substance described as a wad, according to a report by News Center Maine.
Never thought to bring my own cannon to a football game.

Kind of makes cheering “kill the ref” look pathetic.

A rival school in Louisiana, the Rebels, had cannons they would fire everytime they made a touchtown. But they didn’t fire real cannonballs, they fired confetti.

“The News Center Maine reports that the academy will no longer allow cannons on campus or to events.”
So before this, it was perfectly fine for fans to bring cannons to the game?

Patrick McGoohan used one of those to kill someone who was trying to repurpose the boys' military academy in Columbo.

“Sir, AllState is very sorry to hear about your unfortunate accident at the football game, however, “Being shot at via a Cannon” is not currently covered on your health insurance policy, at least not during Peacetime.”
We, at AllState hope you understand that our hands are tied by the National Coverage Policy Restrictions, we are still working to improve our service to your community. You are free to request an application for Claim Reconsideration by our Regional Arbitrator. Would you like that address, Sir?”

The Texas Rangers say it isn’t a crime to walk in and shoot some guy in his own apartment.
Clearly the guy with the canon just picked the wrong state to shoot it in.

Was the ref’s name Joe Danby?
To: artichokegrower
Shot his wad over the ref and not the cheerleaders?
What's this world coming to?
