Oh, dear...
Had an unusually cool summer up here this year, not to many days over 90 degrees.
Even had to light the fire place a few times.
Lots of T storms with RAIN, already have about 2 inches of rain this summer, very unusual for me, and been here 20 years.
This fall has been beautiful, trees actually showing fall color instead of just brown, fruit trees did great.
Hopefully drought is finally over.

When I was but a wee lad in the 1970s, they were telling us that we were all going to freeze to death at about the same time that overpopulation would lead to mass starvation. No glaciers covering Detroit, and no mass starvation...
Of course, acid rain was supposed to melt the cities, kill all the fish, kill all the cops...
Then there was Ozone Hole Doom...

Hey, climate panel. Stuff it, you idiots.
Well you see, “ocean neutralization” does not sound as alarming as “ocean acidification,” so there. Wake me up when the sea reaches the same pH as pure water.
This whole thing reminds me of how they say we need to reduce our carbon footprint. Not carbon dioxide footprint. That’s of course a colorless odorless gas necessary to support plant life. Carbon footprint kind of brings a sooty image to mind. Like we’re polluting. Well, maybe I should start talking about my diamond footprint. What, diamonds are pure carbon too!
