Speaking during a one-on-one United Nations General Assembly meeting with President Trump Wednesday afternoon, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he was not pushed to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden or his son Hunter.
"I don't want to be involved in the election of USA. I think we had a good phone call. It was normal and we spoke about many things," Zelensky said. "You read it [the call transcript]. Nobody pushed."
As a reminder, this is what was said during a call the two leaders had in July.
"There's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General [Barr] would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it...It sounds horrible to me," Trump said.
"I wanted to tell you about the prosecutor. First of all I understand and I'm knowledgeable about the situation. Since we have won the absolute majority in our Parliament, the next prosecutor general will be 100% my person, my candidate, who will be approved by the parliament and will start as a new prosecutor in September. He or she will look into the situation, specifically to the company that you mentioned in this issue. The issue of investigation of the case is actually the issue of making sure to restore the honesty so we will take care of that and will work on the investigation of the case," Zelensky replied.
Yesterday House Speaker Nancy Pelosi launched an "impeachment inquiry" based on the false and anonymous allegation President Trump threatened to withhold military aid from Ukraine unless the Biden's were investigated.
They cant have Biden as nominee. This will be front and center
This should shatter the whole impeachment.
Nice! The Ukranian President not only supported Trump, he said they definitely would be looking into the company Biden’s son worked for.
Worse. They'll call it "collusion," and claim that Trump is working for Ukraine.
"We need a special prosecutor to see if THERE WAS collusion with the Ukraine."

Yep, that’s great news and should tighten both Joe and Hunter’s puckering string.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be indicted....
Schumer: “We cannot take the word of a Ukrainian Leader that has been bullied and threatened by a corrupt President. We must investigate thoroughly, followed by a first class impeachment.”
Zemensky seems like a cool dude..seems to be a lot like Trump, on the same page trying to fight corruption..and Ukraine might have Clinton’s emails..popcorn ready!
Zelensky my bad
Take note, this is still confined to the dealings the Family Biden had with Ukraine. Nobody has even touched on the story with the $1.5 billion that was involved in the deal with China.
Judge Nap on with fellow sodomite Sheppie Smith right now coping the democrat line that Trump committed a crime by denying money until Bidens son was investigated. Will this dimwitted SOB be going on
on Lou Dobbs tonight to repeat this bald face lie. No way in hell, Dobbs will skin this light in the loafers SOB alive.
That’s a good point, he sure hasn’t hesitated to speak out.
Zemensky, Zelensky: Dey all look alike.
Nappy and Sheppy are so far left they shouldn’t be allowed to comment on this at all.
Like you say, Dobbs wouldn’t put up with it.
I read the whole transcript. To me it was Trump and Zelensky agreeing that the previous Ukrainian president had derailed an investigation of Hunter Biden and Joe Biden’s interference in the investigation. Both men agreed that the original investigation should be re-opened.Simple as that. Trump was not urging initiation of a new investigation. And by mentioning Crowdstrike and referring to Ukrainian involvement in the Mueller Investigation he shared that it is his duty as the chief law enforcement officer of America to get to the bottom of Russiagate.
