President Donald Trump on Tuesday said he has authorized the release Wednesday of a complete trancript of a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The nature of that call during which Trump talked about former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter has spurred calls by an increasing number of House Democrats for impeachment proceedings against Trump to begin.
Biden, who is seeking the Democratic nomination for president, is expected to say Tuesday that should be impeached if Trump if he stonewalls efforts by Congress to get information about his contact with Ukraine.
The Trump administration has been resisting demands by Congress to release information about a complaint made by a whistleblower in the intelligence community, which is believed to relate to a call Trump had with a foreign leader this summer.
Trumps authorization of the transcript is unlikely to reduce pressure by Congress for information about his suspected linkage of military aid to Ukraine with a willingness by that country to investigate Biden.
Shortly before his call with Ukraines leader, Trump had ordered a hold on $400 million in military aid to that country.
Trump denies that he pressured Zelensky to investigate the Bidens during their July call.
However, Trump and his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani have elsewhere both urged Ukraine to conduct such a probe.

The President is the Chief law enforcement officer of the country.
This includes enforcing the laws against bribery. The methods he chooses to do that are up to him.
Your bank?
No thanks...
RE: This includes enforcing the laws against bribery. The methods he chooses to do that are up to him
OK, here’s an interesting point of discussion.
Let’s say Trump DID say to Ukraine -— I am not going to authorize the promised military aid to your country until you re-open the investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden’s previous dealings which was canned because then VP Biden threatened to withdraw foreign aid to your country.
Is THAT enforcing the law? Or is that weaponizing American foreign policy to benefit Trump politically against his leading opponent?
At first I thought that releasing the transcript would be a bad thing to do because it sets a precedent. But maybe it sets a precedent for not having to release anything in the future. Trump can say “I released what they wanted and it turned out to be a hoax. Why should I do that again?”
If Trump does this he should make it clear that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this was OK to release the transcript.
Trump is without a doubt the smartest person elected president in my lifetime. He is absolutely the most energetic.
Sheesh, how’d you get it so soon?
I just hope that egg lands right on their faces.
I am cautiously optimistic that we may finally get an unironic boom
If the president had already been sworn into office, how can this conversation, if it included a question about Biden, be considered an “attempt to influence the election” that was already concluded?
2nd thought is that the above doesn’t matter all the Dems want to do is to get the President out of office.
POINTS TO PONDER The fired Ukrainian prosecutor was ALSO investigating a Ukraine oligarch WRT a $5 billion IMF theft,
......simultaneously with the investigation of Hunter Bidens $3 million salary. What's the connection?
SALIENT POINT: The fired Ukrainian prosecutor was investigating all the Ukranian money being stolen.
But he was fired when Joe Biden twisted his arm for investigating Hunter Bidens extortion.....so the story goes.
The oligarch might have been Viktor Pinchuk, a mega-donor to the Clinton Foundation.
HMMMMMMM....Could be Obama kicked Joe's ass, peeved that Hunter only got $3 million of the missing $5 billion?

(HAT TIP THINDEN) On August 26, 2016, NY Associated Press reported on how the records of Clintons official diary as Secretary of State paralleled money flows into the Clinton Foundation. AP concluded that Clinton was meeting in her official capacity with those giving cash to the foundation.
At least 85 of 154 people from private interests who met or had phone conversations scheduled with Clinton while she led the State Department donated to her family charity or pledged commitments to its international programs, according to a review of State Department calendars released so far to The Associated Press. Combined, the 85 donors contributed as much as $156 million. At least 40 donated more than $100,000 each, and 20 gave more than $1 million.
Even this much from the AP had taken three years of pursuing Clintons meeting records and stonewalling by the State Department. In the AP report, and in the archive it had investigated, there is no mention of the Ukraine or the oligarch believed to be Viktor Pinchuk, a mega-donor to the Clinton Foundation. Pinchuk gave the Clintons $29 million.
CIRCA 2013----Viktor Pinchuk hires Hillary to give a speech.

(HAT TIP THINDEN) This is the fight. Theft from Ukraine implicates all of the players from the Bidens to the Clinton Foundation to Obama.
The Cyprus govt was called by OBAMAS AMBASSADOR TO CYPRUS...AND TOLD TO REFUSE RETURN OF THE BIDEN MONEY.
In a nutshell.......Obama's phony facade gets chipped away by the hour.
I am convinced this transcript release will contain some eye-raising tidbits about Biden and/or his son.
Trump is playing them.
Pelosi just said the call was wrong even if no pressure was applied. They are still pissed because Hillary got burned by wiki leaks and Trump won...theyll never get over it. If they do this select committee on impeachment, then Lindsay Graham should do the same on the Biden corruption with his son...

It can be considered an attempt to influence the 2020 elections by eliminating a leading opponent.
Even Execution. (Yes TDS'ers are that stupid)
Bill Weld suggests Trump could face execution over Ukraine phone call

Notice how careful they are with the language? No talk of an impeachment vote. Always about impeachment inquiry. They are still a long way from having the votes to impeach. They are currently at about 160 (who have committed OR considering) but need 218 votes to get there and then it is dead in the Senate with McConnell at one point saying he won’t even take it up.
Biden as already boasted about committing the crime of blackmailing the Ukraine government out of investigating his son, for that Biden should be criminally tried.
It's all theater for the hate filled Lefties who know they need to panic because their leading candidate has dementia.
$25 donation to FR that it does get released.
If President Trump does not release, he will come off as weak and scared.
