I think their pretext is Trump is using American foreign policy as a tool to attack his political opponent.
They accuse Trump of withholding US military aid to Ukraine until they re-open the investigation into Biden’s business dealings. Quid Pro Quo in other words.
Never happen. No transcript will be released tomorrow. Take that to the bank.

I think the Dems don’t believe that Biden can win the elections anyway. They are going with Pocahontas.
So, their reasoning now is if Biden has to go down with Trump, so be it. As long as we take Trump down, Biden can be the sacrificial goat.

You don’t impeach based on tone of voice, you impeach based on the DETAILS of the conversation. The allegation is Trump is using official US foreign military aid as a weapon to force Ukraine to re-open the investigation into Joe Biden. Trump denies that of course. So why open an impeachment investigation ? To find out the truth ( they say ).
