Fox News announced that they do not plan on booking Michael Knowles moving forward after he called 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg "mentally ill" on the network Monday night.
Knowles, who hosts The Michael Knowles Show for the Daily Wire, appeared on Fox News for a segment about climate change and Thunberg's activism. He was accompanied on the show by Chris Hahn, a former aide to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who took exception to Knowles' characterization of the teenager.
Fox News no longer plans to bring Knowles on the network anymore, a spokesperson for the cable news station confirmed to the Washington Examiner after it was first reported by the Hollywood Reporter.
"If it were about science it would be led by scientists rather than by politicians and a mentally ill Swedish child, who is being exploited by her parents and by the international Left," Knowles stated, sparking a visceral reaction from Hahn, who proceeded to call him "despicable" and demand he apologize.
The network called Knowles' remarks "disgraceful" and issued an apology to both their viewers and Thunberg after the segment gained attention on social media.
Thunberg has been diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and Asperger's. She has called her condition "a superpower" that allows her to address climate change more effectively.
Good point- they're in the background giving the orders. After initial defense from attacks, they need to be the primary targets...those who GAVE THE ORDERS. Hunt them down.

Don’t believe everything you read. That spectrum line may be a lie to garner sympathy and stop the naysayers. None of this was told until she started getting bad press.

But the age of tactical planning remains in full-swing. We probably score some points on the clever scale for going straight after Greta as we high-five each other. However, we fall right into their trap AND we alienate the centrists who vacillate on global warming and kids as human political shield...not to mention that for many of us, kids (especially those that aren't all there) are off-limits in general.

I’ve read articles predating this sham boat ride about her being on the spectrum. I also have had experience with Aspies and she’s got the tell-tale signs.
This kid IS mentally ill. She is perfectly conditioned by handlers to spout her climate nonsense, emotional outbursts included. She is pathetic by herself, but the fact that she is influencing so many young people with her emotional-vs.-fact spiel is scary. She could just as well be promulgating “Kill your parents!” or “Kill your teachers!” as “Climate change!” Oops, guess I won’t be invited onto Fox News. Too bad, their loss.
I think that the girl has been totally manipulated by her ‘elders’ to be their puppet. That, to me, does not that she is mentally ill. But, to use an old term, she has been
‘brainwashed.’
