Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) told NBC News' Geoff Bennett on Monday that the Trump administration should make the whistleblower complaint that reportedly involves the president and Ukraine available to Congress, adding that it would be "very helpful to get [to] the bottom of the facts."

The big picture: Romney continues to be the only Republican senator to condemn allegations that Trump pressured Ukraine's president to investigate Joe Biden, tweeting on Sunday that the reports are "troubling in the extreme."...........

I grew up in New Mexico in the 50s and 60s. Back then everyone knew to stay away from Utah.

FLASHBACK:

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts
in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY and the RNME (Republican National Media Establishment)
decided …to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.

Romney, and the Van der Sloot RNME RINOs for Obama in 2008

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

Yes. I get that. All I am saying, if you release it, it would shut them all up (as long as what Trump says is true and I believe him). However, I do get your point about not releasing it. It’s just so frustrating.

Such a big, brave move since he knows the conversation cannot be made public without severe damage to the executive branch REGARDLESS OF THE CONTENT OF THE CONVERSATION.

Mitt wants any reason to vote to impeach Trump so much he’s already stained his shorts.

Willard is getting a big chub in his magic underwear to be the first vote to convict when impeachment comes over from the corrupt House to the dysfunctional Senate. Always the NeverTrumper.

I certainly wouldn’t vote for that S.O.B. As has been said, he is a slithering snake, pusillanimous political puke, bloviating blowhard, pandering poltroon and worse.

If trump would have picked him for his cabinet at the beginning, we’d be done with him by now. Now we’re stuck with him till he dies.

I’m so glad I held back and didn’t vote for him in 2012. Just couldn’t do it.

Romney never forgave the President for not nominating him for Secretary of State. That, and plain old envy since Romney could not win the Presidential election against Obama, while Trump, the alleged underdog, beat Hillary.

I admit having voted for the a hole in 12 because I was certain that Ohola was a bigger disaster for the country. Well, I was right on one hand but wrong to do the other. Also coming along with the scum bag was a bigger one in Ryan whom I have always had a personal distain for as he was the understudy to the tanned pot head/drunk. What a Hobson’s choices we had. In 08 I voted for Palin and the guy she was running with over the same disaster as was running in 08 because it was a vote for Palin not a vote against Ohola. I could not wait till election day in 2016 so I could vote for Trump and will vote for him again in 2020. I just wish he would go into the executive office building with a blow torch and rid the place of a huge number of snakes.

This is all but expected and hardly surprising watching Romney seal his fate to be cast alongside the rabid Marxist Democrat party. Everyone, paying attention then, witnessed his campaign and know he is not acting in America’s interest. He exposed himself and Paul Ryan.

Many people didn’t know or understand Romney prior to his throwing/losing the election to the Marxist Obama. Since then, people on both sides of the aisle have been paying much more attention.

Mitt Romney has been quite useful to the Marxists on the world stage, in his limited capacity. A capacity limited only by his lack of innate ability to lead. He’s a great follower of and loyal to the cause of Global Marxism but he truly is not a .

The point is, when Romney speaks “on his feet” he exposes his Marxist self along with his base weaknesses. Every time he does this a bit more of his public facade comes off and people start to hone in on the fact that Mitt Romney really is a dubious and anti-American actor.

Somehow, I don’t think this will make him look smart. It will momentarily give him points with his leftist brothers but, his weasel ways only undermine the quicksand on which he stands. He proves daily that the GOPe was so corrupt that they couldn’t put up a fight or a candidate.

It’s not Trump envy.
It’s trying to save the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA)
