Dumbest Protest Ever: Leftists Force Thousands of Cars To Idle In Washington, DC

Happy Monday, folks. What better way to get the American people on your side than by causing their morning work commute to become an even bigger headache by forcing thousands of drivers to sit in stand still traffic. In an attempt to convince climate skeptics that climate change (formally known as global warming until a few predictions by Al Gore didn't pan out) is real, hundreds of leftist protesters are currently demonstrating in the streets of Washington, D.C. by hurling confetti, blocking traffic, and warning about carbon emissions...while at the same time causing motor vehicles to just sit there emitting carbon dioxide. Their ultimate goal is to "Shut Down D.C." until the government enacts climate change legislation.

A coalition of environmental whackos demanding "climate justice" Monday morning filled the streets of our nation's capital causing gridlock. Here's some of the action on Twitter.

If you want to hear some screams, I suggest:

It shall be unlawful for any person born after January 1, 2004 to operate in the United States a vehicle that emits man-made CO2 directly or indirectly. Such operation shall result in the permanent loss of all federal government financial benefits with respect to each offender.

One of my pet peeves is speed bumps. In the middle of the morning you can drive by certain parks and hit 11 of them, and not pass one other car on the road, or see one other human being.

Meanwhile, you have to stop and go, thus cutting and building speed which winds up burning more and more gas.

We have these idiot city councils that spend time glorifying greening the planet, then forcing cars to burn more gas to protect nobody 99.99% of the time.

Agree, most of your gas mileage is hurt by getting up to speed. Once there is when the engine is working much less and thus pollution is much less.

I’m in favor of those European round-abouts where you eliminate stop signs and signals and traffic moves through nicely, no waiting and idling engines!

We're being ruled by the idiot children and grandchildren of 'people of merit' who originally went to DC. Regression to the mean ... now we've got 95 to 100 IQ types with major attitude. The worst of all worlds.

And yeah, that would be solved by breaking up DC bureaucracies into groups run out of all the states. Good idea.

The single lane circles are pretty easy to figure out. The double lane ones can be tricky to get into the right lane to get out. AKA European Vacation Style LOL

Ok... I'm sold..! I am now totally convinced that the world is going to come to an end within twelve years... But it's not going to be as the global warming wackos think.. The environment is going to be just fine... But the civilized world.?? Not so much..!
It's becoming more evident everyday that the foolish liberal left, the Soros one world bunch and commie infiltrators in our own government, are forcing us into a civil war that's going to bring the civilized world crashing down.. A total world conflict that will cost ten's of millions maybe even hundreds of millions lives.. If the US. goes down there will be a LOT of others that will go with us.
One of the greatest nations the world have seen is going to be destroyed by a bunch of mindless kids who call themselves "educated and wise." A bunch of doped up snotty nosed elitist who let themselves be sold a crock of shit by the one world commies... :(
