Thank you Kathy!
After this relaxing day, yes.
This week we finish our move to a newer location.
Just down the street but with a house we are going to move in to.
Hopefully in the house by end of November.
Then shop is only a few feet away, no more commute.

It was smiling as we left for church this morning. :) And the air smelled so clean!

Ugh. More dust to be stirred up I’m guessing. I did cough when I saw the picture. LOL! I’m sure it was just a coincidence.

The rain was wonderful. The kitties weren’t too pleased to have to get wet while eating. But it didn’t stop them from trying. I put their dishes under the eaves so it would be a bit drier. They survived. :)

VFW Report: Last night was CFS with all the fixings put on by the Womens Auxillary.
Today was Beef enchiladas, Mexican pulled beef, Charro beans, fresh pico de gallo and all the fixings.

We got a new member the other day, Ron, 85 years young, he was in Korea, Vietnam and made an incursion into China.

I talked with another guy who shows up all silent, Jerry, he has no family in Tx, Vietnam vet.
I got him to talking and he started to cry.

God Bless our troops.

You better believe it will. LOL! We are NOT looking forward to it. We didn’t expect them to do it this soon but I guess they’ve been able to harvest all the acreage he farms so fast this year, he’s going ahead and knocking this out. We’ve had little dewfall the past few weeks so they’ve been able to harvest til late at night. They were here til almost midnight two weeks ago when they got the corn. They stopped because they were tired, not because of dew. It was still dry out there when they left.
It’s bone-dry out there now.

I cough just thinking about it. LOL Well, that and going out there to take that pic has my eyes and nose running and chest burning. The air’s already nasty without them adding to it tomorrow.
The front coming through won’t give us rain but should at least create enough of a breeze to blow the dust away. We hope.

Poor kittehs. They aren’t used to rain and it probably freaks them out when you do get some there.

I feel your pain. I hope it’s not too long before you get some rain to “wash” your air free of dust and pollen.

We’ve been getting high pollen alerts for weeks. I hope you can stay in tomorrow while the stuff is being stirred up in the fields.

I am so sleepy already. I woke up at a bit after 6am this morning and never did go back to sleep. Finally got up at about 7:05am. If I had gone back to sleep, the alarm would have made me sooo crabby. I might try going to bed earlier again tonight.

Dry today and tomorrow and maybe more rain later in the week.

You need a clean air chamber!

“sacrificed for nothing.”

It wasn’t for nothing. Our efforts in Viet Nam hastened the collapse of the Evil Empire by ten years, according to analysis by the former Soviets. Further, we staved off a bloodbath, right up until demonrat traitors betrayed our allies.

The left have kept repeating their lies down the years until more people are disinformed on the subject now than ever before.

The central fact to bear in mind, I believe, is that opposing evil is generally the right thing to do.

The leftwad buckets of dog crap tell us that Viet Nam was “for nothing” in the hope that we won’t oppose them next time.

Yeah, it hasn’t been a good month and it looks like a while yet before this dry spell breaks.

They haven’t mentioned pollen counts lately but it’s about time for ragweed to start spewing its pollen. I haven’t seen any blooming yet and the lack of rain is probably why. But when it does .... UGH!

I feel for ya waking up so early. That had to hurt! LOL

I hope the rain materializes this week. Y’all need it badly. Those fires need at least a week-long drenching to put them out.

I expect to start hearing about fires breaking out around here soon, at the rate things are going. So far, so good. If there have been any, they’ve been small enough to not be worth mentioning.

it did hurt! LOL! But going back to sleep and having the alarm go off would have been much worse.

I remember lots of ragweed when we were in Missouri the year the corn dust made me so sick. What a joy. They say we have ragweed blooming, too, but I’ve never actually seen any around here. But there is plenty of dust. The rain will have washed that out for the time being.

You need a gas mask. LOL! Good thing you aren’t allergic to cats. That would be a low blow!
