it did hurt! LOL! But going back to sleep and having the alarm go off would have been much worse.

I remember lots of ragweed when we were in Missouri the year the corn dust made me so sick. What a joy. They say we have ragweed blooming, too, but I’ve never actually seen any around here. But there is plenty of dust. The rain will have washed that out for the time being.

You need a gas mask. LOL! Good thing you aren’t allergic to cats. That would be a low blow!

I hear ya on going back to sleep if you wake up an hour before the alarm is set to go off. Puts me in a bad mood when it goes off too. I just go ahead and get up instead. Thankfully it doesn’t happen often.

There really isn’t anything blooming right now around here. The hummingbirds even left earlier than usual this year. But once we do get some rain .... POOF! All the fall bloomers will spring open and the dust will be replaced with pollen. But that’s part of life living in these parts and we just make sure to have plenty of tissues on hand. LOL

I do have a gas mask but I get the feeling people might freak out a little if they saw me wearing it. LOL Hubby bought two of them right after 9/11 ..... just in case.
