When Biden got the prosecutor fired, the new prosecutor, who Biden approved — you don’t get to approve a prosecutor in a foreign country, unless something fishy is going on.
The new prosecutor dropped the case, not just on Biden’s kid and the crooked company that Biden’s kid work for, Burisma. That was done as a matter of record in October of 2016, after the guy got tanked.
He also dropped the case on George Soros’ company called AntAC. AntAC is the company where there’s documentary evidence that they were producing false information about Trump, about Biden. Fusion GPS was there.

It is vile when the family members of senior government officials exploit that power to extract business deals internationally. I think we can all agree on that much.
Well I wish they would get this done then and quit sitting on it.
But Joe and his son taking the money is not a crime based on the universal application of the Liberal Rules of Order. Since Joe and and his son are both Democrats they are exempt from even a suspicion of corruption.
OTOH, a public comment on this practice or discussions with a foreign leader whose treasury is being raided is unquestionably an impeachable offense.
I thought Trump was well aware of these rules but I guess I was wrong. But then again Trump does like to rewrite political rules and playbooks. Maybe that’s what’s going on here.
What I actually think is that Trump has mastered The Art of the Troll. Joe and the Dems are about to learn how good he is at it.

It doesn't take a billion dollars to bribe Biden through his son. As I understand it, an entity was funded by the Chinese with $1.5 billion (Rosemont Seneca partners, I think). On the board of that entity were Hunter Biden and one of the Kerry sons. They were board members, so they likely got fairly significant director fees, but it was a Chinese investment vehicle... in tech ventures, IIRC.
So the bribe was more like a fat director's fee... $500k to $1mm per year. Like Burisma. The principal was still controlled and invested by the Chinese.
At one point I looked up this entity on the internet, and Hunter and the Kerry/Heinz son were on the board, but so were several Chinese. I think it was a do-nothing job; a payoff. But, the amount paid wasn't enough to make the Biden's billionaires.
As this incident has pointed out, in the establishment view there is no reason not to help yourself, very richly, while you are helping others to understand what is really in their own best interests even if they cannot be brought to understand that. If course we have ethics. So you cannot get caught taking a direct cash payment in a quid pro quo influence deal. But your adult children. Really, not so much.
Trump has now completed his encirclement of the RINOs. They have no way out unless they go socialist, but maintaining the privelege of position is what the RINOs are interested in more than anything, not giving it all up for some social good. Will they capitulate? Do we trust them to capitulate (hell No! I say)? Is their capitulation worth anything (warm spit, I say)? Or will they just be annihilated? If the progs follow form book, the first to be annihilated will be the useful idiots, the RINOs, because in their idiocy they are dangerous. They thought they had a deal.
We all know Joe Biden and his family are above the law. What is the point of this?

Now he finds out the Biden's net a billion $ or so from the Chinese simply for showing up and a cool $1,000,000 a year for some no-show Ukrainian job. They don't even have to break a sweat for it.
Life sometimes simply isn't fair. Of course, they can always fall back on their multiple "charities" but then they have to split the loot with some other undeserving fellow grifters and even give a few % away to phony charities so it looks good. Bummer.
