A real 2nd amendment rally would be a million gun owners participating WHILE carrying. DC couldn’t arrest a million. Or they could have it from Virginia, at the bridges to DC and demand the city be freed for all Americans.

If so....what large 2A supporting lobbying/membership groups have signed on, to help out?
What social media platforms are you promoting this? What other ways are you promoting?
Just a few thoughts on how this can be broadcast....to the right folks, other than FR ;-)
This looks completely DOA. No identification of the group(s) sponsoring or endorsing the event. No identification of any participants. And a location suitable for a few hundred people, not a million. Further, what is goal of event, why host there, why then? This has all of the earmarkings of a low-turnout, embarrassing event that will be noted by the news media for those reasons.
Since there is, so far, no known 2nd Amendment organization listed as sponsors, one might assume that this just a false flag operation...

So does that mean it is a BAD thing? Can we wait for more information? What do you base your comments on?
Consider this, what if the sponsors and participants are a racist fringe group? Maybe, like someone commented, this is a setup, maybe by Antifa?
How about a protest organized and supported by NRA and other gun groups? Maybe endorsed by President Trump and 2nd amendment supporters in Congress?
You miss the point. This should be organized and ready BEFORE being announced. There is nothing identifiable on the website page, no organizing information, no plans, nothing. You posted this without knowing anything about the folks behind it. Maybe you are not inquisitive, but many of us are.

My comment is, and continues to be, based on today's political and cultural world... False flags are everywhere... However, once again, I did not say it was a false flag...
For example, the other day (Thursday) I toldd one of my 6-year old great granddaughters to stop & look both ways when just as we were about to cross a road... Her words were similar to yours:"But grandpa there no cars coming that I can see."
If I take your advice, next time I'll just let her do what she wants, just like all the local Amish children are taught to do...
Someone started a gun-rights Meetup in New York City a couple of weeks ago and immediately asked everyone for a statement, before they even had a meeting time or a meeting place. I gave one, but I never heard from them again.
Someone at the Trump group said they investigated the guy and he lived in Kansas. So how was he going to lead a group in NYC?
Sometimes you can use charlatans for your own purposes, and of course he may be legit, just not very competent perhaps.

The large 2A orgs generally refuse to support things like this because they are incredibly short sighted.
I’m pretty sure AR15.com is one of the orgs behind this.
I really wish this would’ve been planned and announced earlier. I’ve already committed to attending the March for Life in January.
But it should be said that now, right NOW, in September 2019, is the perfect time for those groups who would be involved to start announcing and planning for nationwide protests on Tax Day next year.
Not on April 2nd 2020. That’s too late.
People need to know with time to plan - and they will come. Protesting is “as American as apple pie”.
One must realize that Cuba would have no Castro, Venezuala would have no Maduro, China would have no Xi, if their country had our 2nd amendment. The first thing is to take citizens guns, then they take control of your country, and you are helpless to resist.
