The driver whose car is alleged to have clipped Princess Diana's before her fatal crash in Paris has claimed he was ordered not to talk about the accident.
Vietnamese-born Le Van Thanh spoke for the first time about claims that his white Fiat Uno was the vehicle that struck Diana's Mercedes.
He claims that when British police asked him to come to the UK to talk to them about the crash, some French officers instructed him not to go there.
Diana died after her car hit a pillar in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel in Paris on August 31, 1997.

Unless there is more to the overall circumstances than meets the eye. Perhaps Bill was seen fleeing the scene.
I can believe she was murdered, in light of how tight knit the entire global elites are.
perhaps the new info about this guy is why this showed up
The vicious muck-raker who spread the lie that Prince Philip was to blame for Diana’s death: Author TOM BOWER on Mohamed Fayed’s fixer and an ex-Met detective who has died aged 83
So a Mercedes limo that was traveling well over the speed limit get in a fatal wreck and this guy is blamed for clipping them? I just wonder who was the clipee, and who was the clipper.
For all of the insanity around the royals, Dianas death was a truly sad thing. Sad for her two young boys. And, sad, because once she had matured a bit, she evolved into one of those rare celebs who used her status to promote causes in which she genuinely believed. I remember the pics of her stepping around land mines where innocent children had been maimed or killed.
Unfortunately, Diana had terrible judgment when it came to men and got herself tangled up with muslims.
I’m guessing Meghan Merkle should stay out of Mercedes cars and tunnels.
The Sirhan Sirhan of the royals. Murder.
I also think there was foul play involved.
Perhaps we’ll never know if she was murdered...but rest assured all of the royals, especially Charles the Muzzie, were quite gleeful upon hearing of her demise.
Tragic accident. Incorrect. This was not a tragic accident. Whether or not one believes that Diana was the victim of a premeditated murder or not, this was no accident.
Her driver was three times over the legal limit for drunk driving. That did not happen by accident.
She also had terrible judgment when it came to choosing chauffeurs.
Elaine: Alright - um, excuse me, hi, could you tell me what kind of law this is.
Deputy: Well, they just passed it last year. It’s modeled after the French law. I heard about it after Princess Diana was killed and all those photographers were just standing around.
Jerry: Oh, yeah.
Elaine: Oh, yeah
Heh
or maybe.....Prince Andrew (if he’s not banished forever)
My guess is they want him to stay out of the public for a long, long time.
Many years after the crash the bodyguard who had been in the car began to undergo a divorce.
This ex-wife-to-be initiated a series of interviews in which she admonished that years before her ex-SAS husband had told her that Diana had been deliberately killed.
There were rumors she was pregnant with the child of Dodi Fayeed.
Her mother in law, Liz, certainly treated her like dirt and was forced to even acknowledge Diana’s death. Making her funeral a state affair totally pizzed Liz off. That right there was enough to raise eye brows.
If Dodi’s father had thought this guy was at fault, he’d have had his revenge.
They probably did this so the Stereotype that “Orientals” are bad drivers wouldn’t rear its ugly head.
No labels and all that Jazz...
