The Frederick County Sheriff's Office has charged two teens for the random, unprovoked physical attack of a 59-year-old man at the Great Frederick Fair.
The victim was found near the midway area of the fairgrounds around 5:36 p.m. Friday, lying unconscious. Police interviewed multiple witnesses who told them the victim had been minding his own business.
Maryland State Police airlifted the victim to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore where he died from his injuries Saturday. An autopsy is now scheduled at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine an exact cause of death.
According to law enforcement sources, the two teenage suspects, ages 15 and 16, may have been playing the so-called "knockout game" at the time of the wanton attack. A spokesperson for the Frederick County Sheriff's Office would not confirm that notion but stated it would "certainly be looked at."

Before we became civilized, we did just that. And people were relative safe in their homes and could feel safe in walking the streets at night or day for that matter.

Few years back I used to say that JJackson & ASharpton etal(hadn’t heard of BO) ACTUALLY figured Whites were ‘smarter’ than Blacks..

If a Black person were to get set upon in a ‘White’ neighborhood, they would come forward screaming about how they had every right to walk in any neighborhood they pleased.
If a White were to get set upon in a ‘Black’ neighborhood, they would be yelling that ‘Whitey’ should have had more sense than to be in that neighborhood to begin with, so it is his/her fault.
When we were civilized we expected civilized behaviors from people. The towns looked to make sure that the people were safe. Unsafe elements were killed.
The Earth Abides is a book that deals with civilization breakdown and how the tribe looked after its own.

Maybe, need to go to such events in groups not alone. But if that’s necessary, I should probably stay home.
Read the offending piece and determine how much of it you actually would disagree with. I think these are things that are commonly said or considered common sense but not usually stated so publicly.

Me too. Went to go see Styx a few years ago. I'm NOT missing Octoberfest next week! Though I will have my situational awareness on high alert.
Used to be. Now we have MANY Montgomery County and DC worker liberals living here and commuting. Just freaking awesome.
Our saving grace is we still have a good sheriff who believes in the rule of law and does not hesitate to cooperate with the Feds to get rid of criminal illegals.
First, I should say that I exchanged friendly emails with Derbyshire long before the "Talk" fiasco. It impressed me that he would take the time to answer my questions and chat with me. I like John Derbyshire.

The item in Derb's list that bothered me most was 10h, "Do not act the Good Samaritan to blacks in apparent distress, e.g., on the highway." That goes strongly against my natural inclinations. It seems to me to be unfair. However, I have had exactly one opportunity in my life to act on Derb's advice, and I ignored it -- I helped the black guy in distress. He turned out to be a con artist looking for gullible white chumps to defraud. He took me for about $50. I paid for my kindness. Later in the week I read in the local paper that the guy was arrested for pulling the same stunt on others. Live and learn.
I wanted to read a debate on the "Talk" article between Derbyshire and National Review's Rich Lowry, who fired Derb. I suspect that Derb would have won easily, but I am not certain of it. Who knows, maybe I would have learned something. Of course, there was no debate. Lowry just branded Derb a racist and canceled him. It was disgraceful. Since then I have wondered what WFB would have done.
We crossed paths! I also enjoyed Styx... didn't see them because we didn't have tickets, so we sat on a bench outside the stadium and listened. I really wanted to go this year, after I heard that Lone Star was playing. But we had other commitments, so no time for the fair.
My son is listening to some commentary on the Frederick incident on YouTube. Apparently, the young thugs approached the victim and asked him for a dollar, then started harassing him when he did not give it to them. He yelled back, said a word that I can't post here, one of them hit him and we know the rest. So, be wary of any teens asking for money and be really careful in any case.

Within a day of the mans death, that was already popping up in the Herald Mail FB comments.
People “heard stories” that the deceased called a girl a name and the ferals beat him to death to “protect her”.
Later it was added that he “spit on her” while calling her the name.
It’s undoubtedly crap but they’re already running with the “poor persecuted us” defense.
Always walk with a large angry dog who sees/ hears/smells everything and everyone near you.

Most want a public hanging but the usual suspects are claiming provocation and pity for the savages.
It’s nice to see that the latter are vastly outnumbered by the former, at least.
