YES! I’ve been riding every chance I get. My favorite area to ride are the back roads of the South Shore. Miles and miles of curvy, hilly, two-lane roads through cornfields, lakeside shores, ocean, farms, cows, forests, etc.
Last Sunday I was on the road over seven hours just riding around, stopping at Yard Sales, Coffee shops, Biker hangouts, etc, just talking story and socializing, and then getting back into the wind.
I get more riding in during these few decent months than I got a whole year in Florida.
It’s just...different somehow.
Thanks, and good evening, lightman, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
We finally got some rain....1 1/2”!
Is it time for the choir to start thinking about Christmas music?
Congrats to the new Grill Master!
Thanks, Mac, for my favorite crosses.

Wishing all our Jewish troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
a peaceful and prosperous week.
Prayers for our troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
for a safe and peaceful week ahead.
Glad you’ve been enjoying spending time with Blue.
Last Sunday sounds like a lot of fun.
He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.
That would be our combined total from August 22 through today...only 3/10 for the month of September.
Smaller streams are just a trickle. Could be worse....I’ve known them for over 50 years and they have only gone completely dry three times. Not there, yet.
Greetings to all at the Canteen!
To all our military men and women, past and present,
THANK YOU
for your service!
Good morning, radu .still on your feet? Long day for you.
Fun at the museum?
Dry most all day, but the storm brought 1 1/2 inches of wonderful rain.
Still hoping you get some soon. They say the fire is 57% contained. Burned trees that are still standing are reigniting. They still need lots of help from the rain.
How's everyone doing this morning?
Howdy, Kathy.
I wouldn’t say I’m on my feet at this point. More like slumped in the chair. LOL! It’s been a busy but fun weekend.
Not overly busy at the museum but we had a decent turnout of visitors.
There was an annual street festival at the town at the bottom of the mountain and I was there last night and tonight with the congressional candidate I’m working for. We hung out at the Republican Women’s tent and he got to talk to a lot of people.
A lot of fun the last two days but I don’t foresee doing much tomorrow. LOL
You got a NICE dose of rain! WOOHOO! I wish it had helped more with the fires but it still helped quite a bit. Y’all were too dry for too long and more rain is needed ASAP.
No rain for us for at least another week unless something unforeseen sneaks up. We’ll have a couple of cooler days next week but will be back in the mid 90s by next weekend. UGH!
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Have you and Gizmo had a good weekend so far?
