A leading proponent of building bridges between churches and LGBTQ Christians will speak Tuesday at Baylor University, where debates over sexuality and faith have come to the forefront.
The Baylor School of Social Work is hosting a discussion with Justin Lee, a nationally known author and founder of the Gay Christian Network.
Lee will speak at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on the fifth floor of the Cashion Academic Center. The event is free and open to the public.

I had met Robert Sloan, the former chancellor of Baylor, now president of Houston Baptist University. We had discussed the unfortunate direction that Baylor has taken. This was just after the commencement ceremony at Baylor where a minister delivered a “prayer” that included “Lord, deliver us from the white male heterosexual”.
Now which lord was that? Certainly not The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Was it Belial-Behemoth-Beelzebub?

Yes indeed. He truly lived as he preached, and he preached nothing but the Word of God. He loved the Bible intensely.
