This is an excellent resource. It has 50 years of the most dire climate predictions, starting with the “ICE AGE” in the 70s, including the TIME magazine cover. Lots of visuals and easy to read. I have been having a lot of success posting this whenever I see a post touting climate destruction on social media.

It’s just like socialism.

The problem has always been that it hasn’t been implement right. Socialist will keep hoping forever that it might just work, if done correctly. Hope they have a billion years to wait, or more.

Same with climate change. Someday... oh, never mind. The climate change proponents and worshipers, will never be right.

Nature takes its course, and socialism can never work because it’s not logical and it’s impossible. Climate change predictions are illogical and use fake and faulty data and made up computer models. Thus, it’s never going to be right.

Both hoaxes should be banned.

I was relieved to see that your excellent linked article, https://cei.org/blog/wrong-again-50-years-failed-eco-pocalyptic-predictions does NOT include the famous fake Time magazine cover showing a penguin on ice above the caption "How to Survive the Coming Ice Age." It does include a real Time article from the June 24, 1974 issue about the possible "climactic upheaval" of global cooling.

Yes but there is a difference. Socialism is a deception and communism isn't. Socialism gives the pretense of private ownership. Yes you can own your own home but the state will tell you how you're going to live in it. Yes you can own your factory but the state will control the production process.

Communism make no pretense of any of that. The state owns everything. Both however offer no private ownership of speech or thought or association. But socialism is the most poisonous because of the pretense of private ownership. That's why it's so easy to fool starry eyed and frankly stupid college kids with it.

Economically, there is no difference. The state controls everything, though, like you said, there is a pretense of ownership.

Freedom-wise, the state 'owns' you, since you can't do anything that isn't controlled and watched-over by the state.

Socialism is a system full of ideals, but once a people start down that track, the state and the people, begin to realize that in order to achieve their goals, they need to have government take over everything, and at that point, you have communism. Socialism is not any different from communism; it's only a step removed from total control, which is eventually mandated and enforced and forced on the people. Communism is the same as socialism, except that it is socialism by force. When you lose the freedoms to do as you wish, you are under the control of a communist, tyrannical system.

The only reason that socialism sounds wonderful to the young and even to the ignorant but not so young, is because of the indoctrination which they've undergone in the school systems and under constant political pressure and rhetoric. Nobody that experiences socialism would advocate it to anybody that hasn't. In effect, there is no such thing as socialism, because, it's just a short step towards communism.

To bad the Republican Party offers no real alternative to socialism. Globalism is NOT a good alternative to socialism.
