The controversy over President Trump’s mysterious call with a foreign leader that prompted a whistleblower complaint ratcheted up Friday afternoon as a new report said it involved Trump asking the president of Ukraine numerous times in a single phone call to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden’s son.
Meanwhile, after Trump called the whistleblower a partisan and dismissed the allegation as “another political hack job,” Democrats in Congress accused the president of trying to intimidate whistleblowers and demanded the administration hand over the complaint and a transcript of the call, while 2020 hopefuls renewed calls for impeachment.

The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that, in a July phone call, Trump repeatedly asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to work with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani on a probe into Hunter Biden. The call came a month before Trump put a hold on $250 million in military aid to Ukraine -- a hold that was eventually released after objections from the Senate.

So Hannity is playing Biden bragging about how he told Ukraine leaders that he was going to withhold $1 billion unless they did what he wanted. When asked on what authority, he said call Washington—laughs.

Here we have a case where a VP (Biden) made a $1B bribe to a foreign official to not investigate his son. Then when Trump gets involved the story becomes “Trump trying to influence a foreign official to cause political damage to a Dem candidate (Biden)”.
Evil ... but brilliant. Our side appears inept in dealing with such chicanery
The president’s conversation with a foreign leader does not seem to fall under this whistleblower definition. (More like an insider spying on the president——maybe bugging the president’s phone to get dirt on the president.)

It would be well to remember that, in the end, Biden was a mere VP with no power
(just as Hillary was a mere SecState) who could do nothing without the prior authority of the sitting president.
So if the Chinese, Ukrainians, or Russians, are bribing someone with no power, they did so with the knowledge that some
of the bribe leaks back into the responsible person’s pockets. Or, more likely, another pot of money goes to the responsible party.
(Uranium One isn’t really Hillary’s deal, its Obama’s deal. Burisma isn’t really the Bidens' deal, its Obama’s deal.)
And China’s billions aren’t really buying Biden’s good graces (Kerry’s son was also involved...) its Obama’s good graces they were after.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. But the answer is he knows the press will back him to go after President Trump with the tape proof disappearing down the memory hole into oblivion. I hope someone on our side has that tape stowed away some place secure.
These people are either blind or idiots, or both in ways that we have yet to understand. Biden is SO tainted in his Ukrainian scam, and that includes Obama obviously, that this accusation against Trump is all just another laughable one day fake news story that will boomerang right into their shorts. You would think they would get the hint by now, but they are than stupid.
