I buy collectibles and all my guns come from out of state these days. So, they automatically go to my FFL complete with background check, etc.
It's no big deal for me one way or the other. But, if they make it universal, and when it does nothing to deter gun crime, what will they propose next? It's all incremental. And that fag Rat running for the Rat party nomination? He's just saying what they all want.
So because they've always shown themselves to be unreasonable, nix to UBC.

Why can’t we just enforce the existing laws and severely punish the damn criminals to start with. Do these morons actually believe that BS is gonna stop a mass shooting? Really? They’re fricken’ insane.

Read the language. This applies to advertised sales. So if you are going to sell your gun to someone you don’t know you will have to check them out. If you sell the gun to someone you know and don’t advertise the sale you won’t have to check them out.

Just another step towards firearm confiscation and the effective removal of the protections of the 2nd Amendment.
How would this process prevent any violent crimes or mass shootings? It wouldn't. Criminals buy guns illegally from other criminals, the same way they buy heroin, cocaine, stolen cars, and other illegal substances.
Most of the recent crazed mass murderers have been able to pass background checks. Those that didn't either murdered the owner and stole the weapons, or bought a firearm illegally.
Exactly how many teenage gang members in Chicago or Baltimore bought a pistol legally? The answer of course is none. Every gun they have was transferred illegally, and the same gang member who is selling cocaine or heroin isn't going to start running background checks.
The entire idea is nothing but a way to gather more data on law abiding gun owners.

If you read the article at the source trump has not approved. This is all still up in the ether.
But if he does... I’m done.

This has Jared and Ivanka written all over it.
Jared has been sucking up to the Senators for 4 years .
All the bad ideas like the Daca and Amnesty and Visas for all crap came from his senate work .

Shall not be infringed/2A will eventually have to be protected by arms in itself.
This is also the sure ticket to lose the re-election.

Here in CA, we have UBC’s....... firearms, long guns, handguns must be bought/sold thru firearms dealers. We also have firearms registration.
We even have background checks to buy ammo.
