U.S. Border Patrol agents caught a convicted child sex offender re-entering the country, U.S Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced Tuesday.
Agents arrested five men in Tucson, Arizona, on Saturday night after the driver of the car attempted to evade a Border Patrol vehicle driving behind them, according to CBP.
During routine processing, it was revealed that one of the men who claimed to be a Mexican national was actually from El Salvador and had a criminal history, which included indecent liberties with a child and possession of a controlled substance, the agency said in a news release on Tuesday.
The Salvadoran man wasnt the only sex offender whose apprehension border authorities announced within the past week.
CBP on Sept. 12 announced the arrest of Adrian Castro-Garcia, a 33-year-old Mexican national living illegally in the U.S. Agents in the Tucson sector apprehended Castro-Garcia when he called 911 after he became lost in the desert after illegally crossing the international border, the agency said in a press release.
Castro-Garcia was convicted in Los Angeles twice, once in 2013 and once in 2014, of having sex with a minor, according to CBP. In both instances, Castro-Garcia was deported after serving time for his conviction, the release stated.

This is a no brainer.
Take him to the nearest wood chipper and drop him in feet first.
“Hang em high”.....on the Mexican side of the fence.
Good they caught him!
The Mexican sex criminal attacked a minor in 2013 and another in 2014 and was deported twice “after serving time for his conviction.” Wow that must be speedy “California justice.” What was the sentence 14 days, like the cheating college admission scandal parents are getting? Why not just a Drive Through window at the court house .
He should have been hoeing crops or breaking rocks for 10 years before being deported.
That’s one caught.
Another few thousand not caught.
One return-er was arrested a couple days ago but only after molesting another child.
Castration seems appropriate here.
Third deportation from 30,000 feet would seriously reduce recidivism.
Determine how he got a drivers license and show how much it’s costing taxpayers of that state. Check the precinct list of registered voters where he resided. If hes on that list, Federal crime, charge he and those that enabled him to vote knowing he was illegal
Yeah, he's living in the shadows, afraid he'll be discovered alright. /s
A better deterrent to others who try to cross illegally, cut his head off and stick it on a pike placed next to the most commonly used trail to the border. This has worked great in other countries on different continents.
