More from the article:
According to a report by The Stanly News and Press, the school system did not punish the students because no school district rules were broken.
Tucker released a statement to the media, in what she says is an attempt to clarify the story.
"NCHSAA probation, in and of itself, is not a punishment. It serves as a notice of behavior or action that is against NCHSAA Handbook Policy or contrary to expectations of sportsmanship and proper behavior," Tucker said in a written statement.
While the NCHSAA does not have a specific policy prohibiting the display of political advertisements at athletic events, the behavior was contrary to the NCHSAAs 'Philosophy of Cheerleading,'" Tucker continued. The philosophy suggests that cheerleaders represent the school and fans in a positive manner while showing support for the team.

Sounds like a steaming pile to me. Next, the same cheerleaders should hold up an Obama sign, and see if the chumps will put them on probation again, I am SURE an Obama sign would be just fine with those chumps. What a bunch of a$$ hats.

I’m glad the national spotlight is being beamed onto this act. Such political bias and pigheaded behavior has got to stop. Your candidate lost. Get over it. These girls need to sue. Financial culpability is all they will really understand. They are too ignorant to be shamed over this.

So they DIDNT do anything wrong!
The idea of posing next to a Trump sign is only offending sensibilities that want to be offended.
Sue that organization.

That policy from NCHSAA could be interpreted into saying all cheerleaders who dont acquire gender dysphoria are not representing their team in a positive manner.
The word positive means not showing liberal insanity means you are on probation.

I think I have isolated the problem:
NCHSAA Commissioner Que Tucker
While the NCHSAA does not have a specific policy prohibiting the display of political advertisements at athletic events, the behavior was contrary to the NCHSAAs 'Philosophy of Cheerleading,'" Tucker continued.
Translation: Que thinks she is in a position to make determinates as to what is and is not policy.

And I'm SURE that
these Charlotte, North Carolina cheerleaders (subject to exactly the same NCHSSA "Philosophy of Cheerleading") were
also put on probation two years ago, when they kneeled for the National Anthem
in uniform at a game venue.

It was only single, public probation.

As leaders, we should be encouraging America's youth to participate in our democracy and political process Oh but they do, as long as their supported political party is the Democrat Party. Otherwise, probation is in order as they see it. If their support is for the Democrat Party they might tell them this is against policy, so don't so it again. Wink wink.

Carolina Peach made a great point on the FR NC state board that the teens get punished for being patriotic while a teacher in a Charlotte suburb told her class that VP Pence should be shot in the head and the school board’s response is crickets.
