Sod off, swampy.
That’s racist
How do you coverup a crime that never happened?
The President launched over 10 tweets!!!!
They are trying to crucify him but he is holding up quite well. This circus just makes the Dems look so stupid and pitiful. They are like schoolyard bullies who need a horse-whipping!
I read it a few years ago. I think I liked part one the best because it set up the whole dystopian world. I liked part two because the pieces of the mystery started to become clear. But I thought part three was a bust when we meet the stud-muffin hero.
I get that Rand was writing a novel with a lot of speeches in order to make a point, but I think I would rather read an essay than a long (long!) long speech in a novel. The speech at the end is just the longest one of many that appear throughout the book.
I think the book should have been half as long as it was, and it needed a better ending. And the relationship between Dagny and Reardon was like something form a pulp fiction potboiler. Just my zwei pfennig.
Madam Silverback...
He would be good, wouldn’t he? Sharp guy.
Literally the ex-wife from hell.
The devil himself would run from her.
This one’s worse. Dem women are evil women. Deeply horribly ugly evil.
Fix bayonets!
It would have been classic.
It'd be funny if it wasn't so sad
that this BS is actually allowed to continue.
These people all need to be covered in tar and feathers and
be ridden out of DC on a rail.

Heard that and cheered!!!
Wow. Your take on the book is the exact same as mine. I actully read a ways into it and put it down for YEARS. Then I picked it up and finally got into the page turner part. But the end is WAY too preachy.
And yes, the second movie is the best, but the last third of the first one was awesome. For some reason I was suspending disbelief really well and it had a very emotional impact on me.

Lewandowski also countered a question from Swalwell about whether he routinely placed notes the President asked him to take down in a safe by saying, Its a big safe, congressman, theres a lot of guns in there.
Swalwell largely based his campaign around addressing gun violence.
Swalwell: Have you ever put any words that the President asked you to write down before in a safe, or was this the first time youd done that?
Lewandowski: I believe its my standard operating procedure when taking notes, Congressman.
Swalwell: So every note you take of the President you put in a safe?
Lewandowski: I dont Its a big safe, congressman, theres a lot of guns in there.

He’s leading all the polls that have been run in NH for the GOP senate seat.
He'll be a great senator.
