Wilson Goode was Mayor when that happened. I don’t know where in the chain of Democraps Ed Rendell was at the time. I also attended the revealing of the Kate Smith statue outside the Spectrum back in the day and it was Wilson Goode who unveiled it. I remember he got booed when they introduced him.
