"Elizabeth Warren is a hypocrite"
These are the words of Ed Rendell, former Philly mayor, Pennsylvania governor and chair of the Democratic National Committee. At this moment, ahead of the Democratic Presidential's Primary Debate on Thursday, he is coming after Elizabeth Warren. Wilson Goode was Mayor when that happened. I don’t know where in the chain of Democraps Ed Rendell was at the time. I also attended the revealing of the Kate Smith statue outside the Spectrum back in the day and it was Wilson Goode who unveiled it. I remember he got booed when they introduced him.

He wasn’t Mayor then — Wilson Goode was Mayor and he authorized it.

Lately he has looked more aged and haggard. So maybe he has a medical condition...? very possible at 78 yrs old...And here I was thinking how good he looks. I knew him personally since 1966, and had many friends (and social events) in common, but haven't seen him since moving away from the area 20 yrs ago.

Awesome! Hope it goes viral! :)
Obviously she’s been called Lieawatha herself, of course.

Right - Goode was Mayor but Rendell was DA.And you're saying the DA ordered the police to do this? Not really. It wouldn't have been the DA's call to okay the use of the firebomb in the first place. That was a police matter, and the Mayor had oversight there. The DA actively prosecuted the MOVE people. Two of my very close friends were ADA's at the time, so I heard a lot about the case as it was ongoing.
