Sorry that it’s been so warm there, but like you say, it’s the way pre-fall is in the south. Ours has hovered around 90, but the humidity is a bit lower, so it’s more tolerable. And yes, the kitties seem to be happier. They can stretch out in the shade and feel a breeze that doesn’t singe the fur off their bodies. LOL!
Good you got some stuff done at the museum. Even when it’s “slow” there are things to do.
We were overdue for a hot summer though this one wasn’t one with a lot of triple-digit days. Just one with a LOT of days 90 and above. It could be one of those years we go from summer to winter with very little in the way of fall temps to enjoy.
Yep, a slow day is good once in a while so some cleaning can be done. We’ve been busy enough lately that I haven’t had a chance and no one else seems to think about it.
I finally got that 1914 newspaper I found in Clara’s house in a frame and it’s on display at the museum now. We have several with articles about WWII there and now have one with articles about WWI.
