We were overdue for a hot summer though this one wasn’t one with a lot of triple-digit days. Just one with a LOT of days 90 and above. It could be one of those years we go from summer to winter with very little in the way of fall temps to enjoy.
Yep, a slow day is good once in a while so some cleaning can be done. We’ve been busy enough lately that I haven’t had a chance and no one else seems to think about it.
I finally got that 1914 newspaper I found in Clara’s house in a frame and it’s on display at the museum now. We have several with articles about WWII there and now have one with articles about WWI.

I’ll bet they were so happy to get that newspaper! It was quite a find. It would have given me chills to see one that old. Glad you realized what it was before chucking it as junk. eeeee!
