In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. accused security guard and Lockheed Aircraft employee Cesar Eugene Thane of delivering the fatal blow to his father Robert Kennedy.
The social media post was published on the day of Thanes death in the Philippines.
Thane Eugene Cesar died today in the Philippines. Compelling evidence suggests that Cesar murdered my father, RFK Jr. wrote.
On June 5, 1968, Cesar, an employee in a classified section of Lockheeds Burbank facility, was moonlighting as a security guard at the Ambassador Hotel, he continued. He had landed the job about one week earlier. Cesar waited in the pantry as my father spoke in the ballroom, then grabbed my father by the elbow and guided him toward Sirhan.
See the full post below:
RFK Jr. insinuated Cesar shot his father in the back four times, which corroborates with the coroners report, and said the police have never seriously investigated Cesars role in his fathers killing.
The LAPD unit (SUS) that investigated my dads assassination was run by active CIA operatives. They destroyed thousands of pieces of evidence, RFK Jr. stated.
The son of the murdered political icon isnt the first person to accuse Cesar of delivering the death blows, as many have been suspicious that the Lockheed employee was called to work at the last minute and that he held far-right anti-Kennedy views.
However, the accusation doesnt mean the jailed-assassin Sirhan Sirhan didnt also shoot RFK but instead suggests the pair worked together, both firing shots at the Democrat candidate.
There is even controversy over what Cesar did with the possible murder weapon, as RFK Jr. wrote, Cesar sold his .22 to a co-worker weeks after the assassination warning him that it had been used in a crime. Cesar lied to police claiming that hed disposed of the gun months before the assassination.
Cesar and RFK Jr. were set to meet in the Philippines last June, but the meeting was supposedly canceled by Cesars agent Dan Moldea.
RFKs daughter Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, former Lieutenant Governor of Maryland, also believes the truth about the assassination has yet to come to light and supports her brothers call for a re-opening of the investigation.
The investigation came to a close one year after the assassination in 1969 after Sirhan was convicted, despite claiming he had no recollection of the shooting.
Sirhan, to this day, has no memory of the assassination, RFK Jr. echoed, having personally spoken with Sirhan while he serves out a life sentence at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego, California.
You get all your ‘facts’ from Univision’s Gizmodo, huh?
Gizmodo is a design, technology, science and science fiction website. It was originally launched as part of the Gawker Media network run by Nick Denton, and runs on the Kinja platform. Gizmodo also includes the subsite io9, which focuses on science fiction and futurism.
Most of Gawker Media was however purchased by Univision Communications in August 2016. Gizmodo was one of six websites in that acquisition and is now considered the flagship website in the Gizmodo Media Group, which in turn is part of Univision’s Fusion Media Group division.

Hopefully he’ll take up ski-football soon.
PING
Interesting comments.
I think they made a movie about this.
His wife’s suicide should be investigated also. A woman who didn’t sail used a nautical knot to hang herself.
[Sirhan, to this day, has no memory of the assassination, RFK Jr. echoed, having personally spoken with Sirhan while he serves out a life sentence at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego, California.]
Well, of course, we must believe Sirhan the Palestinian.
No I don’t âget all my factsâ from gizmodo, and I don’t use guilt by association or ad hominens when I disagree with people either.
[ I think they made a movie about this. ]
For different reasons altogether!
For different reasons!
Altogether!
Drug addict Jr. trying to exonerate RFK’s Palestinian murderer. Did Omar and Tlaib put him up to it? RFK was very pro-Israel.
True. But now that the alphabets have lost all credibility, the default position that they are guilty is now plausible with a large number of the public.
If they lose more credibility, good.
The shooter was no closer than a foot away, or the end of the weapon was no closer than a foot away? With everything going on, eyewitness recollections might get a little fuzzy. I guess I will wait to see what Pierre Salinger has to say about this.
RFK was an über ambitious liberal prick. But he took one like hundreds of thousands of soldiers and his brother did so I let him RIP. Should have been Teddy who got the plmbum poisoning. None of them could be todays democrats but Teddy came close. Basically good riddance.
This Thane has no connection with the Thane of Cawdor.
And the Kennedy brothers’ Nazi supporting nutty father had no influence on them whatsoever./s
Yes, what ONE person said out of several that have examined the recording. And that person wasn't an audio expert. He's a recording machine expert. He had no good science backing up his opinion.
I don’t doubt that the CIA was involved somehow. But, Sirhan was grabbed while still firing the gun for gods sake. The bullets in his gun matched the bullets in Kennedy’s body.
I either saw it live or the first or second re run after the shots were fired. Nothing was said about Cesar.
His second wife committed suicide because he drove her crazy.
Honestly, I never heard ANY of this before right now.
