Minneapolis once had the reputation of being a nice city. That seems, now, like a long time ago in a galaxy far away. These days, the reality is different. This sickening video of a gang of youths viciously brutalizing a man just outside Target Field, where the Twins play baseball, has gone national. It is visual proof of how feral downtown Minneapolis has become:
Or, to take another example, on the last night of the Minnesota State Fair, generally thought of as one of the more wholesome events a family can attend, there was a gang rumble just outside the fair gates at closing time:
As the Minnesota State Fair wound to a close late Monday, chaos unfolded just outside its main gate.
Fights broke out. A 19-year-old woman was gravely injured when she was hit by a vehicle. Then the sound of gunfire sent hundreds of panicked fairgoers fleeing down Midway Parkway into the Como neighborhood. One resident peeked out her window to find three people taking cover behind her lawn furniture.
Police sources have attributed the worst of the violence, including the barrage of bullets that sent three men to the hospital, to rival gangs.
The wounded people were all taken to the same hospital, where fighting again broke out between the gangs. This isn’t your grandfather’s Minnesota. Minneapolis’s mayor is a young man who worked briefly in my law firm and is obviously not up to the task. Members of the City Council are ridiculously left-wing and totally ineffective. In both Minneapolis and St. Paul, civic authorities are convinced that policemen are the gravest threat to “communities of color,” and therefore law enforcement should be scaled back, or only grudgingly reinforced in response to events like the one you see in the video above.

Maybe this is a tangent, but, did they build Target Field in a bad neighborhood? It seems that a number of cities have built new stadiums in bad areas.
If that is a bad area, attendance may eventually slack off.
An exception I can think of, is the new Atlanta Braves stadium, built in what I have heard is a middle class suburb, abandoning Turner Field in the inner city.
The thugs in the video were white nationalists wearing blackpaint—everybody knows that! ;-)
Target Field is downtown, which used to be a great area.
The problem is that downtown is changing.
I was absolutely floored at how many blond, beautiful women were there. I was informed that that many were of Norwegian and Scandinavian stock.
I had not seen that many beautiful women outside of Ireland, which has its share.
Minneapolis didn’t really have a minority underclass so the federal government (under Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama) provided them with one, mainly Somali muslims.
This stuff has to stop...Look at Europe, Sweden...And it’s expanding here in opur country...At some point there will have to be something done strongly, even if it means bloodletting...
Bedwetting liberals are just going to have to be ignored and the problems fixed...

I gave up crowds a long time ago. Glad we live in the country & going to town is a wonderful, every Saturday, small town thing.
Feel so bad for people who work hard & can’t even enjoy their city.
No matter where you build a sports stadium/arena, the neighborhood will go bad.
Who wants to live in a area of severe traffic, hotels, prostitution and other things that come with such a complex?
I lived there for a bit over a year some 30 years ago and it was beginning it’s slide then.
Still a nice town but even then one stayed away from Hennepin Ave at night.
also the Muslim freak who threw the toddler off the balcony at the Mall of America. And Mall becoming a combat zone when it historically was a destinatiuon for shoppers all over the Midwest.
Not just robbery but cruel brutalizing. I wonder if anyone is keeping statistics on the prevalence this kind of thing — where street crime goes beyond stealing property to terrorizing the victim.
There is a long history of these Somali thugs doing this in that area. Our nation has been given away to the barbarian hordes.
Here is a link to an article about many of these Minnesota Somalis along with other Muslims traveling down to southern Missouri to get fraudulent commercial drivers licenses. It is a long article but well worth the read. Up to 200 of these people went on to get certified to handle hazardous materials. All this took place back in 2004-05.
