One of my wife’s nieces (in her 50’s) is the only non conservative on both sides of our families.
She and her family live out of country. She has been told by her family to never discuss politics again at a family function. If she does, she will never be invited to a family function again.

They outed her. Probably with a promise of a payoff. But after she said anything happened, she was stuck or her credibility would be forever shot. They needed someone who was a BK contemporary who COULD have been at a party he attended and tried to engineer a situation where he COULD have done something like this and not been able to refute it. They also knew you can’t prove a negative so they thought the lie would go through unchecked. They didn’t count on the fact that he had a rock solid alibi for most nights and a calendar to prove it, as well as a pretty good explanation and memory for where he was and what he did during the summer and fall.
The swimsuit thing gave her away but she had to lie about that part of it, otherwise she couldn’t explain how she’d be at a party where he was as well. It was a very easily discoverable lie. How do I know? Because 2 summers after that year I was going out with 2 girls and had to get creative (aka lie) sometimes about where I was and who I was with. Ford’s testimony brought back a LOT of memories.
Any of us falsely accused by these snotrag women since Anita Hill symptathized with the poor guy, and more so his family. But nothing happened to this cruel witch and this story was quarantined for a year. Tells us a lot.
