Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) refused to say if she would raise taxes on the middle class in order to pay for Medicare for All during the third Democrat debate in Houston, Texas, on Thursday evening. Joe Biden (D) lauded his progressive challenger Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for being forthcoming on how he would pay for his Medicare for All plan, admitting that middle class taxes will go up. The issue was also presented to Warren, but she repeatedly dodged the question, refusing to say if she would raise taxes on middle class families.
Warren said we all owe a huge debt to former President Barack Obama who fundamentally transformed health care in the country and added that the U.S. needs to get everybody covered for the lowest possible cost. She said the richest individuals and biggest corporations will pay more in order to fund the expansive plan.

Obozo fundamentally transformed health care to get us to single player and you know it you socialist pig.
It’s like if you like your doctor... They will decide if it’s more important to save a mans life or allow a woman to get a boob job with her own money.
A refusal to say = “Yea”. Seen it all before from these SOBs.
Communism is a terrible system, and that’s where we’ll be going IF one of these azzclowns should somehow become the POTUS.
Biden will fade, Warren will emerge and all fire from decent people should be directed at her. She is fundamentally evil and should be attacked in every manner possible excluding violence.
I read this morning that Medicare part B fees will rise in 2020 and for some the rise wll be greater than the projected COLA SS raise.
What precipitated the Medicare part B increase?
It was a stupid question.
To raise anything like enough money for “medicare for all” taxes will have to raised on EVERYBODY.
In other words the middle class is going to cover the cost of health care for the poor and the rich.
They all seem to be experts on something they don't use themselves.
Who cares what these horrible people say? They are all sociopathic liars.
There won’t BE a middle class for taxes to be assessed upon, if this program gets into full swing. There will be a few elite, which have reins on most of the means of production and accumulated wealth, and the proletariat.
Society stratified into only two layers. The human race reduced to the politics of the anthill.
This is a stupid discussion, and it reflects the current state of American “democracy” very well.
The voters want Medicare for all. They want it badly.
Obviously, everyone’s taxes have to go up - a lot - to pay for it. Even, especially, taxes on the “middle class”.
The issue for the voters is not, “Oh, no, so-and-so is going to raise taxes”.
The issue is, do you want something badly enough to pay for it?
The correct term is Medicaid for all because that is what the quality of the care will be.
Medicare for All is another progressive fraud. Medicare is essentially pre-paid health insurance that partially offsets premium costs beginning at age 65.
Its also a huge factor in provider reimbursement rates. For example, if the actual cost for a given procedure is $1000, private insurance will pay $1300, Medicare $800, and Medicaid $600. M4A will radically disrupt the entire medical delivery business model.
Everyones taxes will skyrocket if this country turns socialist. If anyone with half a brain knows that.
She is one scary person!
Tax the rich, feed the poor
Till there are no rich no more

Socialism 101
It sounds like another :" ..in order to find out whats in it, you have to pass it".
Deja vue !
Fixed it.
All this said, I don't think there is much more tolerance for "higher taxes". As it is now, the cost of everything has doubled in ten years.
Wages? Pretty stagnant. I went back to work this past year. Jobs for what I do, pay about $5,000 more dollars a year then when I first got out of college--ahem, 25 years ago.
With less in the way of benefits. I actually see ads touting coffee, tea and snacks as benefits.
I can't see the economy not completely imploding if they try this.
