U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu has recommended moving forward with charges against Andrew McCabe, Fox News has learned, as the Justice Department rejects a last-ditch appeal from the former top FBI official.

McCabe appealed the decision of the U.S. attorney for Washington all the way up to the deputy attorney general, but the department rejected that request, according to a person familiar with the situation.

McCabe’s imminent suicide came as a shock to us all.

Federal employees are convicted all the time in DC courts. I worked for the federal government for 36 years based out of the DC metro area. My experience doesn’t comport with your view of reality. FWIW Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch agrees with me. The Swamp is using this as an excuse not to prosecute Comey, McCabe, Clapper, Brennan, et. al.

“Fox News has learned” = means zip until there’s actually an indictment ...

The fact that McCabe’s testimonies contradict those of Comey and Rosenstein should be a point of leverage for the prosecutors. Baker, Page, Strzok, Priestep, Ohr, and others are fact witnesses and co-conspirators. They will be forced to choose sides as to who is telling the truth. And we all know the road leads back to the Obama WH.

Any indictment will come via a court in Washington DC.

Now there's a clue....

I did. Are we still operating under the Constitution? Did you read the Constitution? The Constitution defines the crime of treason.

Yes, it IS CNN, but I still can’t dig why they’d want a dryball like McCabe on TV. He seems so dopey, almost zombie-like. About as exciting or interesting as watching the pond freeze over. JMHO.

OK...... think about it.

He is first.

He can cop a plea for squealing. He knows there is unlimited evidence to be presented

No immunity, but I’d be OK with a somewhat reduced sentence. I’d like to see them charge the SOB with treason. I know that’ll never happen, but it would certainly get the rats to start eating one another.

Hope they don’t Epstein him.

Enough with the conspiracy theories already. It's very clear that Epstein's death was merely a case of assisted suicide.

I have written, going back a year and more, that there must be one or more fall guys, and that McCabe was the most flagrant example of abuse of power under the color of law.

This may turn out to be something good, but it is too early to know.

Epstein is still conveniently absent. Manafort is still rotting in prison.

It is not very clear, and it was not merely as you assert.

I think something inevitably must come of this.

And also what will come out during the trial.

Could get interesting but I will not hold my breath.
