A man whose mother is a 9/11 victim ripped Rep. Ilhan Omar for describing the terror attacks as “some people did something” during the annual anniversary ceremony at Ground Zero on Wednesday.
Nicholas Haros Jr., wearing a black T-shirt with the words “Some people did something?,” singled out the congresswoman and the other members of “the Squad” after reading the names of the dead, including his mother’s, Frances Haros, at the ceremony.
“’Some people did something,’ said a freshman congresswoman from Minnesota,” said Haros in reference to Omar.
Amid some applause, Haros continued, “Today I am here to respond to you exactly who did what to whom.”
“Madam, objectively speaking, we know who and what was done. There is no uncertainty about that. Why your confusion?” Haros asked. “On that day, 19 Islamic terrorist members of al Qaeda killed over 3,000 people and caused billions of dollars of economic damage. Is that clear?”
“But as to whom,” Haros continued, “I was attacked, your relatives and friends were attacked, our constitutional freedoms were attacked and our nation’s founding on Judeo-Christian principles were attacked.”
“That’s what some people did,” Haros railed. “Got that now?”

Never mind so many without their mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters and friends. Never mind so many first responders are still dying from lung disease from it.

On that day, my beloved cousin, Michael “Big Mike” Lynch, FDNY, Ladder 4, laid down his life while performing his sworn duty to save lives. He was extricating victims from a stuck elevator in Tower 2...when the tower collapsed. Mike left a young wife, and two little sons, age one and age three.
His funeral could not be held until November, when they found his remains at the bottom of the elevator shaft.RIP, Mike, may your name be blessed from generation to generation of Lynches.

As a female I have to say that AOC is a pretty gal - no matter what she does with her hair, she is pretty - in a bun or just wearing it down...
At least she’s not like 75% of the females on TV who look like they put the mop head on their head as they walked out the door to work. If not quite that bad, as if they crawled out of bed threw on some clothes without bothering to do ANYTHING with their hair. I am told it takes a lot of work to make their hair look that raggedy - WHATEVER!
Had to be a rough day for your whole family as it was for so many others and the city itself. We all feel sorry for your loss. Doesn’t seem like 18 years have gone by as it’s still so fresh in our memories.

Terrible. I know. I remember. And I’d like to think that payback was swift and painful. We will never know how many of the enemy were killed (in Iraq and Afghanistan). But it was not small and insignificant.
