I have a relative in the class action suit industry.she said some time ago that the mesothelioma claims were winding down and the next big thing would be popcorn lung from vaping and e-cigarettes. The flavored stuff, according to her, is downright toxic.

The FDA has erred on the side of NOT being the nanny state with vaping products. They warned us years ago that no one knew what the chemicals in vaping products would do. That people vaping were experimenting on themselves. And while they considered requiring vaping companies to prove the safety of their products, they didn't. At least not until now when their is strong evidence they are causing harm. I have many questions

• How do the rates of illness compare to tobacco products used for the same period of time?
• How many people successfully used vaping products to wean themselves off of nicotine and eventually stop smoking/vaping altogether?
• Will they be able to isolate the harm to specific ingredients?
• Why does THC appear to cause lung damage from vaping products but not from pot?
• Does THC vaped cause bi-polar and schizophrenia like pot?

I actually had welcomed vaping for smokers. I thought surely vaping would be safer than inhaling tar. But was disappointed when kids picked it up.

If people want to harm themselves by voluntarily inhaling noxious fumes, I’d rather they did so in a manner inoffensive to me. Vaping is enormously preferable to smoking.

Our governor just did this....I was in the store today to buy vaping products... long line in the store...I asked for strawberry flavor and was told it was banned...my response.... Well I guess our governor says that I am not old enough to buy what I want.... half of the people applaud, the other half scowl....
