Lots of us want a strong, disciplined impressive military, but don't want it misused. Its purpose should be to keep the world peaceful. We should hold our allies to the same high standards as all nations should aspire to. We should respect the territorial integrity of all nations, including our adversaries. We elected President Trump because he campaigned that he would listen and negotiate for peaceful solutions.
President Trump's negotiating was doing very well until John Bolton came along. I'm one of the Freepers who's glad he's gone, and wish he and others of his ilk had not become part of the Trump administration.
