There were extraordinary scenes of chaos and anger in the House of Commons overnight as opposition MPs staged a protest against the suspension of parliament for five weeks a prorogation that the Speaker of the House said represented an act of executive fiat.
As John Bercow began proceedings to prorogue parliament, a group of opposition MPs carrying signs reading silenced drowned out Black Rod as she tried to address the Speaker, a ritual that initiates the suspension.
Several MPs were also involved in altercation near the Speakers chair, as they attempted to prevent him leaving his seat and attending the House of Lords, the next step in the formalities required for the suspension of parliament.
Cries of shame on you rose from the opposition benches as government MPs left the chamber. Labour MPs, who remained in their seats after government MPs and the Speaker had left to attend the House of Lords, sang Jerusalem and Bread of Heaven.
The chaos unfolded in the early hours of Tuesday morning, after a day of high drama in which Boris Johnson lost his sixth parliamentary vote in as many days

If they’re really that upset, then they should refuse to be paid during the prorogation period. That’ll show ‘em!
Normally, this would result in a vote of “No Confidence.” But that’s exactly what the “loyal” (to the globalists) opposition does NOT want (it would mean new elections, which they know they would lose)!
This is completely legal and proper! What the Remainers are doing is staging a coup and they don’t like the fact that they are being stopped.
All they’re really asking for is another referendum. Or two. Or three...Until the people vote “Remain.” And then the issue can finally be settled.
Globalists are biotches.
Leftist Antifa style bullying by legislators. Expect to see it here before the elections of 2020.
Proof about how deep leftism has invaded public institutions of western societies.

I wish both sides would stop bandying incorrect terms
1. “coup” - the remainers accused Boris of staging a coup and now the leavers accuse the non-Boris of staging a coup. Neither was a coup.
2. “illegal” - neither Boris’ prorogue nor the attempts to stop it are illegal.
The 5 week prorogue during an existing parliament (not at the end of a parliament before an election) can raise eyebrows, but it is perfectly legal.
Raising bills to protest that is also perfectly legal.
We are seeing a big disagreement between the UK’s representative democracy and it’s choice to run a botched direct democracy advisory referendum.
These actions and counter-actions are all perfectly legal despite what each side says.
Let the soap opera continue until Halloween
REMAINER TAX 25%
levied on all Remainers.
Has Oliver Cromwell phoned in yet?
You are EXACTLY correct.
Brexit is nearly 100% sure of happening
Hard Brexit is nearly 95% sure of happening no matter what you may want.
Remember the EU is anti globalist as it puts up incredible barriers to countries outside its club
The push for a second referendum gets stronger.
These MPs think the EU would bargain in good faith....it is not. The EU wants to punish the UK via a “deal”.
The best alternative is a no-deal Brexit and negotiate from a position of strength afterward.
Teresa May could not do that. Parliament will not allow it.
AGain you bring up - “will not bargain in good faith” — what do you even mean by that?
The 27 countries and the UK bargained in good faith from 2017 to October 2018. They arrived at an agreement.
What “good faith” deal do you want? And what is not “good faith” in the current deal?
