This is completely legal and proper! What the Remainers are doing is staging a coup and they don’t like the fact that they are being stopped.
All they’re really asking for is another referendum. Or two. Or three...Until the people vote “Remain.” And then the issue can finally be settled.
I wish both sides would stop bandying incorrect terms
1. “coup” - the remainers accused Boris of staging a coup and now the leavers accuse the non-Boris of staging a coup. Neither was a coup.
2. “illegal” - neither Boris’ prorogue nor the attempts to stop it are illegal.
The 5 week prorogue during an existing parliament (not at the end of a parliament before an election) can raise eyebrows, but it is perfectly legal.
Raising bills to protest that is also perfectly legal.
We are seeing a big disagreement between the UK’s representative democracy and it’s choice to run a botched direct democracy advisory referendum.
These actions and counter-actions are all perfectly legal despite what each side says.
Let the soap opera continue until Halloween
REMAINER TAX 25%
levied on all Remainers.
