SNIP
Officials did not disclose the informants identity or new location, both closely held secrets. The persons life remains in danger, current and former officials said, pointing to Moscows attempts last year to assassinate Sergei V. Skripal, a former Russian intelligence official who moved to Britain as part of a high-profile spy exchange in 2010.
The Moscow informant was instrumental to the C.I.A.s most explosive conclusion about Russias interference campaign: that President Vladimir V. Putin ordered and orchestrated it himself. As the American governments best insight into the thinking of and orders from Mr. Putin, the source was also key to the C.I.A.s assessment that he affirmatively favored Donald J. Trumps election and personally ordered the hacking of the Democratic National Committee.
The informant, according to people familiar with the matter, was outside of Mr. Putins inner circle, but saw him regularly and had access to high-level Kremlin decision-making easily making the source one of the agencys most valuable assets.

The NYT is re-writing the narrative.
There was no collusion (which the NYT insisted there was for over 2 years) but now they're saying they have proof Putin did interfere in the election.
The N.Y. Times doing its best to get a covert asset killed.
#DomesticEnemies #Treason
I don’t believe any of this.
Just more stuff made up by the MSM.
My word, after all the COUP ATTEMPTS the CIA still had time for SOMETHING ELSE...?
They really are master jugglers, now aren’t they.
Maybe some little-known CIA cell still doing actual espionage, my, my, my.
Will wonders never cease.
I wonder if BATF is doing anything now, I mean, anything not related to exporting machine-guns to Mexican narcos.
Don't worry. Joe Biden will take care of that.
Breaking..!
IRS doing super good work using TOTALLY WEIRD TRICKS uncovering LOTS of hidden money, to be used to educate cute diverse kids and house cute fluffy puppies.
More:
They’re totally NOT investigating politican enemies, now, not even a LITTLE bit..!
Super secret sources for this BIG, EXTRA GOOD story, though, so mum’s the word, kay..?
Big, biiiiiig breaking with beefy bits and bits of egg..!!
The NYT are aligned with the CPUSA and work 24/365 to undermine the Republic in all sorts of ways beyond just election melding.
Ahhh yes, another fractured fairy tale from the fishwrap of record.
NYT has history of hiring writers who make things up.
What, No Bacon?
Not even bits?
"O, what a tangled web we weave; When first we practice to deceive!"
"If you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything."
They have to contort themselves into a pretzel to keep their narrative together.
A long time ago, maybe 1985 or so, I met a yuuuuge Rumanian wrestler, a champion who had defected after the Olympics.
He said he and alllll his countrymen NEVER believed anything written by Government sources at government papers:
It was a total waste of time to read such things.
That was really amazing to me AT THAT TIME.
“How strange it must be, to disbelieve your entire media apparatus...” I thought AT THAT TIME.
I had no inkling that much later I would come to think JUST LIKE HIM, but in my own country.
I dont believe any of this.
Just more stuff made up by the MSM.
Exactly. Total sluts. Dont believe any of it.
“pointing to Moscows attempts last year to assassinate Sergei V. Skripal, a former Russian intelligence official who moved to Britain as part of a high-profile spy exchange in 2010.”
Bullsquirt. Skripal was tried for treason in Russia for his activities as a double agent for the Brits. He was convicted and sent to prison. A few years into his sentence, the Russians and Brits swapped spies. If the Russians wanted Skirpal dead, they would have done it when he was convicted and sitting in prison. Also, if you do a spy swap and then dramatically kill the guy you let go, that would pretty much be your last spy swap...ever.
The truth is that Skirpal was a Steele associate, and helped Steele write the fake dossier. There were no Russian sources. The whole thing was created out of whole cloth right there in British intel/the CIA/and FBI.
Skirpal and his daughter were hit with fentanyl, not gas.
And NOW, the NYT has a Russian defector who is swearing that he has knowledge that Putin and Trump planned the “hack” of the DNC computer. (Again, no law enforcement agency, not even the corrupted FBI, has ever examined the DNC servers...never. Only Crowdstrike!)
If you are a defector, you will say exactly what the new country wants you to hear. The head of the Nazi military intelligence played this game well after WWII. Gehlen created an organization where he hyped numerous threats to the allies. He was at risk of being hanged, so he convinced the allies intel agencies that he had such critical knowledge that the HAD to spare him. So he provided endless “reports”.
The NYT is a farce. Last but not least, they openly stated that they are not looking for truth now, they are simply on a mission to get Trump.
Should set off alarm bells in your head.
Skirpal was the weak link. If he talked, he could have brought down the Steele organization and Brit intel. He had a record as a double agent.
The Brits/CIA did a hit on him to silence him, and to further blame the Russians.
We are in a nation that is truly smothered in propaganda.
This entire store is fiction. Russia did not interfere in the 2016 election. Just because some “agent” said they did doesn’t make it so.
I often wish that I could cancel my subscription to the New York Times, except that I’ve never had one.
I can believe that.
The KEY to everything is Steele. He was involved every step of the way and working as an intermediary between the FBI, the Hillary campaign, McCain, and Glenn Simpson/Fusion GPS.
Crack that nut and we'll know everything.
