How 2020 Democrats Would End the HIV Epidemic [By encouraging the behavior which proliferates it]
The Daily Beast ^ | 09.09.19 | Hanna Trudo

With the third Democratic primary debate likely to bring the focus back to health care, nuances, six candidates have paid extra attention to combating the HIV epidemic, putting forward plans that rely heavily on expanding medical access across the country.

AIDS United, a non-profit organization working to end the HIV epidemic in the United States, sent a questionnaire to every candidate running for president to increase awareness of the HIV issue, which is of global urgency. In the United States, over one million people are living with HIV.

“The presidential candidates in 2020 have a unique opportunity to make history,” William McColl, Vice President of Policy and Advocacy at AIDS United, told The Daily Beast. “For the first time since the Centers for Disease Control originally reported a few HIV cases in its Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report 38 years ago, we are able to end the HIV epidemic in the United States.”

More nonsense about making the behavior which is HIGHLY conducive to HIV transmittal somehow “safer.”

The real tell is when they talk about decriminalizing the deliberate transmittal of HIV/AIDS, a deadly disease, nationwide.

The only time you hear about HIV anymore and certainly not as an epidemic are in the many TV commercials and then with guys kissing guys..haven’t seen any with gals kissing gals YET! Are the stats about deaths from HIV/AIDS kept secret or are they not happening? Certainly not talked about as much as it was 30 years ago.

An epidemic it is not. There is a 100% foolproof way of not getting HIV.

Health officials should have eradicated the vector when the malady first appeared.

But instead, HIV became the first disease with civil rights.

The left is purely nihilistic. That they champion gays who have AIDS to deliberately infect gays who still don’t have the disease is proof that the left only wants to destroy people - even destroy people from friendly (to them) demographics just so the leftists can rejoice in death and misery.

“HIV became the first disease with civil rights.”

Spot on. I read the first reports of the “Gay Men’s Disease” in the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report from the CDC. They recounted the sexual histories of those infected. It made me gag. Then they threw science and proven public health practices away because of who the “victims” were. I was disgusted then and I’m disgusted now. To me, this was the beginning of the end of science as a discipline.

Remember the uproar generated when the City of San Francisco (much saner, at the time) wanted to shut down “gay” bath houses in the interest of public health because that was an epicenter of HIV transmission?

The homos even won THAT battle. They had a RIGHT to infect others with a deadly disease, to be “who they are.”

I read that infection with HIV (even with the drugs they take) ages the infectee 15 years. I assume that means it kills the HIV infected 15 years early. Why aren’t they talking about that?

The Red Cross caved in. Instead of banning blood donations from any man who has had sex with another man since 1977, they now exclude only those who admit to having had sex with another man in the past 12 months.

I don't know if 12 months is long enough--hopefully testing will catch any infected blood before it is used in a blood transfusion. But they are more vigilant in guarding against mad cow disease (when they don't have any known cases of it being transmitted via a blood transfusion) than they are about HIV. If you have spent more than 5 years in Europe since Jan. 1, 1980, you can't give blood in the US. But in Europe they have people who have lived there all their lives donating blood.

The inherent deleterious health effects of HIV and its treatment are a closely guarded secret.

The public narrative is that “HIV positive people are living just as long and healthy lives as the general public.”

You have to dig into the sources which people with HIV have to rely on to stay alive. Try HIVPlusMag.com or POZ.com for more truthful reporting.

One of Trumps biggest mistakes.

Funny thing is, the left doesn’t believe him and still HATES him for this.

I always ask the purveyors of the AIDS lies about health to show me a significant number of HIV-infected people who are 65 or older. They can’t.

There is no HIV epidemic - there is a deadly STD that spreads primarily through homosexuals and there is treatment that stops it in most cases dead in its tracks.

This isn’t the 1980s anymore. The epidemic is gone, and so is the scare. You want to see an HIV epidemic? See Africa’s s**thole countries.

Don’t engage in risky sexual behavior and don’t be promiscuous. Any other rules are not rules, just excuses.

Even an HIV test cannot be trusted, because the time from exposure to registering an HIV viral load may be weeks, not hours.

Someone could engage in risky behavior, get an HIV test soon after, and that test show nothing (test results negative). Meanwhile they continue to be promiscuous and weeks later test positive, but that postive result may in fact have come from the encounter that triggered the eerlier test.

Meanwhile they have been sharing HIV with their partners in between the two tests.

It's estimated that more than 300,000 die each year from obesity.

The graph above is new cases, not deaths.

HIV isn't an epidemic.
