In 1958 the city of Cheyenne, Wyoming, made it mandatory for bicycles to have a license and a tag. I still have mine..
You have to get it from the Ministry of Ousinj. Just cross the word “dog” out and write in “fish” in crayon.

With the way bicyclists behave in our quiet hamlet, I’m all for making them get licenses. Make the adult cyclists pay road taxes and property taxes too. And they should be fined for bad taste regarding their choice of apparel.

My philosophy is that when cars and trucks start sliding around on the roadways, it's time to put the bike away for the season.

Me, I just got an electric power assisted bike for my 25 mile daily commute and as a bonus I get to be sweat free.

Agreed. Every city feels like they have to kiss those bike riders’ rear ends. (As if they are doing so much for the environment so they deserve special consideration.)

Those remarks were great. I particularly liked the one where the guy hates cyclists, drivers in cars and walkers depending on which activity he’s engaged in.
