They still knew it wasnt theirs.
That is true, but on the other hand, I don’t force my morality on other people.
In this situation, this should have been solved in 24 hours.
Banks always have the leeway, they are never held accountable and when they make mistakes that cost their customers money, its like “our bad, now get lost”.
If I have to report stolen checks/account numbers/debit cards, etc to the bank within 24 hours (of the theft, not the knowledge of the theft) then why can’t the banks live to the same exact standards?
And this is a super easy one to catch. What does the bank manager in this branch do all day? Play solitaire and look at pron?
“they are never held accountable “
ROTFLMAO!
“If I have to report stolen checks/account numbers/debit cards, etc to the bank within 24 hours (of the theft, not the knowledge of the theft) then why cant the banks live to the same exact standards?”
Where did you get that?
“And this is a super easy one to catch. “
OK, Mr. Bank Manager ... How would you have caught it?
“I don’t force my morality on other people...banks always have leeway, they are never held accountable and when they make mistakes that cost their customers money, it’s like ‘our bad, now get lost’.”
How old are you, twelve???
Banks carry insurance fir just such situations.
The FDIC replaces depositors’ misplaced funds.
You’re attacking the bank for what was human error, then using your ignorance of common bank policy which *corrects* the error, as a defense for the criminals who stole the money.
You are utterly morally bankrupt. SMH.
