And the liberals also like to quote the poem at the Statue of Liberty, about giving us the poor tired and huddled masses, as if that poem is part of our immigration laws.

They mix and match quotes, take them out of context, or actually lie about things, as in the case of the Statue of Liberty poem, to push their political narrative. And they hope nobody notices what they are doing.

I forgot about that poem - libs forget it’s also about legal immigration - they confuse illegals with legal, no difference with them.

The poor/tired quote was a contest winner for a plaque to put on the statue by Emma Lazarus. Nothing from the founding fathers.
