I had the same question and observation. Whos ever heard of Rural King?
I’d never heard of
Tractor Supply,
And Now it’s
Rural King!
But Wal-Mart will fight for the rights of the Red Chinese to sell us junk.
Rural King is one of my favorites.
Ive heard of Burger King, Sofa King, but not Rural King.
If y’all remember check out their Black Friday add!!
I found out about them from on a Black Friday ad site a few years ago. They always seem to have really good deals on things. Of course it’s only a good deal if you can use it, eh
They are mostly east of thew Mississippi River but I do know that they have a store in Wentzville, MO. Just 3 hours east of Kansas City, yee haw:-)

“As I understand it Walmart just doesn’t want open carry in their stores.”
This is the case and frankly, it is totally understandable.
Wish we had one closer nearest one is 47 miles away.
Yes I had already Googled it too. I even 360° photographs inside one store. Tnks.
Tractor Supply doesnt sell guns or ammo
At least not in Tennessee
I can understand Walmart and open carry
Its hard to tell whos a nut and whos a freeper
Besides CCW is so much smarter
Their ammo decision is far more troublimg
Walmart doesn’t WANT open carry but they didn’t (can’t) outright ban it.
If business booms like I expect it to you might get one closer.
I had never heard of it either until they opened one near me. At first there was very little on the shelves but chickenfeed, pet food and a gun counter but each week it got better as their sales improved, now they have everything from tractor batteries and plumbing supplies, to clothes and groceries, except a meat counter and produce section.
As I understand it, Walmart will continue to sell ammo for the guns it sells, but not for other guns.
Also. Walmart's "no open carry in stores" policy is a request, not a demand. Whether or not it will be enforced is subject to various laws and the store manager's discretion.
Ours also hosts a farmer’s market every weekend which is great if you like crafts, BBQ and Amish cheese, but it is too packed then for my tastes. What amazed me was how quickly the store went from nothing to everything.
This is lovely. We have Jays in Michigan but I appreciate RK.
Where is Tractor Supply on this?
