....going on the road to 100 cities with his pledge to save the climate is not explained. Maybe Fox has some mysterious way of traveling to 100 cities that does not involve air travel and burning of large quantities of fossil fuels. Or maybe Fox doesnt really believe in climate change and is using fear to push his anti-American, anti-business and anti-modernity agenda. Or maybe like so many Hollywood elites Josh Fox believes that climate change restrictions are for the little people. He is important and has important work to do. Others need to ditch their cars or not fly and be penalized if they continue to do so. Hes certainly not alone in this mentality. Earlier this month, Google had a climate change summit in Italy. Collectively, the A-listers, reportedly including former President Barack Obama and Prince Harry, arrived by way of 114 private planes. Talk about a large carbon footprint. But all these hypocrisies may be irrelevant. The grassroots is failing to support Foxs crowdfunding campaign. It looks like Fox might have to ponder the meaning of truth and the climate from his apartment in Brooklyn and not the 100 cities as planned.

This guy doesn’t have a grassroots campaign - head in the clouds would be more accurate, considering all the air travel required for the project.
A-fisters
Hydraulic fracturing now has a clear track record of success with no water contamination, pollution or ecological damage.
Wind turnines kill millions of birds and solar fields change the ecology.
People like Josh Fox are totally discredited in reality, but still welcomed by the man-made climate fantasy crowd.
I saw his work in “Gasland” and thought he did a good job, but the problem is that the globalists are arguing that the developing world, and China, should be allowed to pollute like it’s 1899 because its “their turn” and besides that it brings down costs for multinational corporations that offshore production. Never mind that the processes used in 1899 were the cutting edge... in 1899, and were used by the people who were inventing the technology. The argument goes that the developing world can’t afford to buy the new technology. So why not do what the old industrialists did and invent new technology? There are African scientists who have some excellent published work in the area of brownfield’s reclamation. These guys could absolutely clean up (literally and figuratively) if China’s factories were to go idle which would free up land for growing (gasp!) food. Cleaner producers (like the U.S. and virtually anywhere else) could produce which would reduce pollution for everyone while more people would also get fed (including the Africans, if the Chinese would stop stealing the fish from African waters).
We need to hold people to account, and thanks to the freedom Mr. Fox enjoys here, that he would not have in a place like China, American producers are held to account. That should be his role.
Petroleum is not a fossil fuel unlike coal. The earth creates it in the course of its high core temperature.
I mean does anyone actually think that plastic packaging for consumer goods that can withstand the jaws-of-life (and extended international shipping voyages)are a good and wholesome thing for the environment?? BTW- how much petrochemical pollution does all that really robust plastic packaging and international shipping from places with nonexistent environmental regulation contribute to problem these guys pretend to care about?
The fossil fuel, useless-eaters are also wasting our oxygen.
Oh yeah. I forgot about that. Algore, IIRC, mentioned the earths core is millions of degrees. Thus asbestos shoes and undies.
Petroleum is the ultimate fossil fuel.
fossil: a remnant, impression, or trace of an organism of past geologic ages that has been preserved in the earth's crust
And everybody knows today's oil came from long dead organisms, many believe to be the remains of dinosaurs.
That's why I can puff my eco-friendly chest out when I say, "My F-150 is powered by recycled dinosaurs" :) :)
Even better! That makes my F-150 running on natural ethanol!! :)
There is no such thing as a “fossil fuel” ... all carbon based fuels were produced by Earth processes.
re: “And everybody knows today’s oil came from long dead organisms, “
Yeah ... UNLIKE EVERY OTHER MINERAL WE PULL OUT OF THE GROUND ...
How does that work exactly?
Bump
Not true
The actual organic process for making oil/natural gas is not well understood at all.
Now that man is finding oil/natural gas at depths far beyond that which any plant/animal matter could exist, it seems as if it is a natural process of the Earth. It serves some purpose that mankind does not understand.
So then it's not meant as justification for environmentalist to be the self-flagellants of the modern era?
To be more specific, it’s bacteria poop. Many things we use are the product of poop. Food, for instance.
