Viewers were not particularly thrilled with CNNs splashy, seven-hour town hall on climate change, which aired Wednesday night.
Despite the presence of 10 Democratic presidential hopefuls, Fox News won the blue ribbon for the entire evening with its normal programming alone, according to early Nielsen ratings for the 5 p.m.-midnight ET time period.

How many PUBLIC school chilrun had to watch this as their in-class daily assignment?
I missed it.
Will it be rebroadcast?
[I missed it.
Will it be rebroadcast?]
I certainly hope so. CNN should rebroadcast it every day of the week. All the way through November, 2020.
A lot of people probably missed it. CNN should make sure each and every person gets to see it. At least 400 times.
That's only for the rich. If you're poor, you sleep under the stars and use pine cones.
(Sleeping under trees and using leaves is middle class.)
Maybe the Republicans should do a debate on abortion, gun control, energy, and ILLEGAL immigration.
Important stuff instead of fantasy land.
“Fox News rules the airwaves”
That goes up, must come down. FNC will find itself crashing as conservatives realize they are no better than their alphabet siblings. No longer balanced, not even close to being fair.
The management has changed; the public, not so much. We continue to stand by our man and if he’s not being treated fairly, we act accordingly. The enjoyment of MAGA continues.
FNC: a tip for you. You dance with the one who brought you, (us) or you go home alone.
They should have tossed in Trump Russian collusion. That would have doubled their listeners to 2.
I think that is a violation of the Geneva Convention.
The CNN climate debate was a DNC homage to big donor Tom Steyer.
How much Co2 was emiited to air and watch this farce
“I must admit I didnt put myself through the torture of watching that.”
Couldn’t you find a fork to stab in your eye?
“Moron-a-thon” ... has a nice ring to it.
One can only take so much bovine flatulence.
Why, thank you! It certainly fits... :)
I was in a rental car today, it had Satellite Radio, but the only news station it had was the CNN Audio Feed. First time I had seen (or in this case heard) CNN in a long time so I figured I would give them a shot, maybe hear some coverage of Brexit or the Hurricane hitting the Carolina’s. After the first 20 minutes being nothing but coverage on “Mapgate” (that stupid controversy where Trump had the hand drawn map) with genuine “experts” brought on to seriously discuss President Trump’s mental stability and how much this would damage him politically, I felt I was listening to Saturday Night Live skit that wasn’t particularly funny. Finally I turned the radio off in disgust.
CNN is the coyote in its futile effort to catch the roadrunner. Seriously, their program is straight from an ACME catalog. CNN gave DJT millions and millions of dollars of free coverage in 2016 thinking that the more the public saw him, and the more they lampooned his rallies, the greater the chance of an HRC presidency. The problem is they were giving much of the public exactly what they/we have been waiting for. No doubt CNN feels, in large part, a contributor to his election.
So this time around they are using their platform to try and prevent his re-election. The problem is...They are once again the coyote ordering these ideas from an ACME catalog. They are giving these stiffs hours and hours of coverage on the most outrageous topics:
New Green Deal = Outlaw coal and oil!
Gun Grabbing - You bet your A$$ we’re taking them!
LGBTQ - Drag Queen Storytime for everyone!
These idiots are on moron cruise control. The only shame is that they don’t have more viewers.
Most of CNN’s viewers left the TV on while they fell asleep!
Maybe some of the candidates will talk about how it is ok to have sex with farm animals—could get exciting! ;-)
This was not a favor to the Democratic Party.
Exposure is _very_ bad for their clown car full of candidates.
