The entrenched establishment residing in the Swamp expresses discomfort with a President that the mainstream population find straightforward and refreshing. It's true that his Tweets and public utterances before dashing off on a helicopter can sometimes make one twinge, but the media and his opponents take every opportunity to take remarks out of context to make him seem vulgar, a bully, racist or any other of many disparaging adjectives to make him look bad. Us in flyover country and many on the east and left coasts overlook these and recognize him as the leader he is - eliminating regulations, reducing taxes, enforcing border security and above all supporting the common man by encouraging opportunity and applauding success.

Mattis threw a lot more shade at Obama than Trump. Was downright scathing. Just saying.

Remember that story that showed the picture of PDJT shaking hands with some A-A celebrity in the Oval Office, and the story then proceeded to explain that even though he was shaking hands with him, in his mind he was calling him the N-word.
Was an actual story in some MSM outlet, back in 2017.

"Yet the negativity is couched in words of moderation and caution."Perhaps the naysayers are aware of the "Trump Curse". From the urban dictionary:
The "Trump Curse" is a theory that anyone who says or does negative towards Donald Trump will be cursed with bad luck or negative karma.

I think this is their interpretation, not necessarily what these people supposedly speaking code meant to say.
Theres no penalty for criticizing Trump, so anybody who wants to criticize him openly can easily do so.

I agree TXAngel. The Mattis article was extremely critical of the Obama regime. Which I guess is why the media wants it ignored.

Id say there are millions who support Trump but are afraid to admit it, rather than speak in code.

For the curious researcher -
Examine the length and frequency of his hand shakes.
Convert to Morse code.
You will get

Proving their point.

Do they really think this or do they knowingly, consciously make this stuff up?

“Jim Mattis is just the latest in a string of leading lights from the conservative establishment to throw shade at Trump.”
He’s a mouth. Never married no kids bachelor, defended trannies as hard as he could. Wants Assad removed to install a Sunni government in Syria. Quit in protest because Trump doesnt want to do regime change in Syria.
A whore, paid to be on the board of directors for the scam company Theranos. “I didnt bring artillery..tears in my eyes... if you F with me Ill kill you all” and then when his men did exactly that he had them arrested.
But other than that, yeah... a “leading light”.

The Federal Government is a HUGE FRIGGIN’ ORGANIZATION.
You mean at any given time there are a set of managers who aren’t thrilled with the sitting POTUS? Well, DUH!
I bet in your company you can find plenty of managers who aren’t so thrilled with the CEO either.
I betcha it was worse with prior Presidents too.

Trump’s “conservative critics” were never conservative, and claiming otherwise isn’t fooling anybody.

Moreover he has gotten exactly zero votes and thus has no political standing in the republic, to which he swore an oath, beyond that of ordinary citizen.
No constituency but the anti-Trump media makes him a political nobody.
