How so?
According to the article the judge said: Do not try to talk over me, do not try to turn this into theater.
Seems like that conduct would be what got the lawyer cited for contempt and I don't see that as outrageous by the judge.
As to whether or not his failure to dismiss was outrageous, I'd have to know his reasoning to decide on that, and the article doesn't say.

Not so. A lawyer who talks over a judge in court violates a basic rule of decorum and is subject to being held in contempt and fined, jailed, or otherwise punished. In a courtroom, the judge is in charge.
It was fantastic conduct by the judge. Time antifa and their lawyers hit some hard limits. He told her not to talk over him and she basically said FU and kept reading case law from a book out loud.
He was correct to lock her up.
